Interesting that his eyes never left the ball and he he never stopped playing, or appealed for that matter. I'd say in the realm of dives it's actually quite a respectable one. He was expecting contact it never came so he played on.

TBH to me Kane's was worse because if you watch Kane's face as he goes down he pretends it actually hurt him, when it's debatable there was even contact. Not that I care either way, neither is any different to a cynical foul.

Deele didn't appeal because he realised what a totally shit piece of gamesmanship it was.

Do you have the same view of players committing cynical fouls?

I'm not saying it's good but I agree with poch that he got punished and that should be the end of it in the same way happens after a player pulls someone back when their counter attacking.

Let's stop making excuses. He planted his right foot naturally, then dragged his left leg past Lovren waiting for contact. When none was forthcoming, he failed to bring his leg forward far enough to carry on and collapsed his right leg and fell. He wasn't "leaning" on anything. It was a dive and an embarrassing one at that.

You should see at one point he moves his body towards №26 trying to push him away. It could be enough to lose balance at speed.

Watching that replay dunno why he went down he still had the ball
If he kept his balance he was in on goal.
I dunno if it was a dive or he lost balance
Harsh yellow I think but I just don’t know put it this way a pen for that and well them scouse twats could have something real to whinge about

Thought it was a pretty blatant dive during the match. But, I'm firmly in the camp that 'it's part of the game.' It's the same reason why some of my (American) friends don't like the sport. But, I accept it, I understand the value in it and as long as the referee gets it right (even the times when it's against us), I'm fine with it all.

Any fouls within the penalty area that are given mostly will be granted a penalty.

Now tell me how players will not exploit that. If there is any real problem, it lies with the rule. Any law will always be gotten around.

As much as I hate diving, I'm with Poch; just get on with it ffs.

Yes, I do. In my opinion, diving to try to win a penalty is every bit as cynical as fouling a player who is in on goal to prevent them from scoring and should carry the same punishment. The problem is that it's difficult for the officials to be certain with a dive whereas a professional foul is easier to spot. It's such a shame that cheating has become such an integral part of the game and almost becoming respectable now.

They are bigger than us, where do you honestly believe we are in the PL? In what way are we higher up the ladder than Liverpool? Not putting us down here btw.
When is the last time they finished ahead of us in the league?

Is it 3 years ago?

You are a good example of putting us down.

lol lol your saying we are a bigger club than Liverpool because we have finished above them in the league? Really? How does that make us bigger? Are we bigger then Manchester United as well? I suggest you open you eyes a little.

Following they are bigger, income they are bigger, brand they are bigger. I am not putting us down at all but I'm not sticking my head in the sand. How does a spell of 3-4 years make us bigger?

You are a good example of biased thinking.
