For whatever it is worth, and the whispers coming out, Poch is very happy, but not contented. He now believes he wants one good opportunity to have a good swing with quality acquisitions. And I am told he wants LB, 2 ACM, 1 striker that can play different positions. On Toby going (?) he wants another CH, and this I have already addressed.

Now I know the club will back him with circa say 150m, plus monies he generates from sales. He wants proven young quality, and one experienced proven quality between the ages of say 28-32 (my guess).

Yesterday hurt him deep, and he doesn’t believe we have the clinical quality work if Eriksen & Kane not doing it. He wants options.

I honestly do not believe he will sign a new contract extension, unless he has firm assurances. I personally believe the hierarchy will back him fully, and are finding ways to do such.

Btw, please, honestly-STOP talking about new stadium financial restrictions. It is well covered, even if media hasn’t had a sniff. Daniel is in his territory there.

Let’s back Poch rather than slagging him off for tactical naivety on the odd occasions, or his stubbornness on others. We really don’t know what we have in him. We are blessed.

No CM. Hmm. I assumed that would've been a priority.

I think most of the fans that have been slitting their wrists have not seen the bad times and poor mgrs/coaches/players of the past and don’t really know what ‘crap’ really means.

Poch has been the best mgr under Levy and they both have a very good working relationship.

We’re playing at a spanking new stadium next season. Lots of things to look forward to.

Did anyone expect us to be in the FAC semis at the start of the season, knowing that we had to play all our home games at a neutral venue?

So we played our semi final at the same ground we played all our home matches....you see that as a disadvantage ????

Backing backing backing, every manager wants backing when they lose. We have the team to win the FA fucking cup but we lost again. Seems like everyone blames losing these days on not getting enough players in a window that closed 8 months ago. Fact is nobody bought a single player since the FA Cup started in 3rd round yet we only failed to show up when it mattered, whats missing?

We signed Moura after the cup started. I think many of us were hoping he'd be our cup star this season. I think the missing thing has to be a mental thing as Poch was suggesting. After United scored it was "Here we go again" and the belief seemed to evaporate.

With regards to Lloris, didnt United not play Romero in the cup games up until yesterday? Maybe Jose understood the importance of playing the best team he had at his disposal better than Poch did. Loyalty to players only works if you get the result, the first sign of failure will highlight your loyalty to those players like Voorm, when there is a greater goall.

Romeo was injured otherwise he probably would've played. Almost all the big clubs play their reserve keeper in the cups now. United do it, Chelsea do it, Liverpool did it, City and Arsenal both played their reserve keepers in the Cup Final earlier this year. Its the price you pay for having two good goalkeepers these days.

Gutted about yesterday but I'm keeping it in perspective. My wishlist for the season was:
- Get out of the group stage in CL
- Get top 4
- Decent run in the cups

And you have clearly laid out why fans of clubs all over the world respectfully disagree with each other..
I have no disrespect for any other fan, but simply put this is why we each have our own opinions. What's one fans wishlist is not necessarily the others '.

If we could all see and appreciate the others point of view then maybe, hopefully we could all support in the same spirit.

These arguments are all so pointless when you have a fan base split on what they define as success for the football club. Bicker away all you like and chuck the stats up but you'll never agree.

Well, unless we do the treble.

If we had bale playing for us yesterday I think it could likely have swung the tie in our favour. He has played at the highest levels and brings it in the big games. Just the sort of player to propel us on to the next level

Knowing our luck he would have been injured anyway.

I think the question is:

Who could we possibly find to do a better job all things considered?!

I realistically can't think of anyone.

Long may Poch steer the ship IMO.

I honestly can't see how anyone can think that Poch is not the man to take us forward.. In my opinion, the job he has done at spurs is every bit as impressive as what pep has done at City, not directly comparable of course as they both inherited 2 very different clubs.. I hope he gets backed to the hilt this summer as he has shown loyalty to this club like no one else in my time, when Man utd came calling and he told them NO, make no mistake. If anyone thinks different, I'll strip naked, lather myself in goose fat, wrestle them into submission and penetrate them with my turgid phallus..

The other way to look at comments from poch, could be a bit of dig at the players. I'm sure Poch had something to say at half time. But spurs came out flat, I'd say he was very pissed at the second half performance.

The media blackout since the defeat has been weird! Can’t remember a time spurs/any player hasn’t tweeted all day? Strange!
