Interesting no ITK have commented on this seeing as it is mainstream news.

Is it just that unrealistic?

Or is it the reason why Herc keeps saying we HAVE to back him?

Going to Chelsea seems to go against everything Poch has said in the past, but maybe he is using the interest to add pressure to Levy?

I've been having similar thoughts myself. Not that I think this story has any legs whatsoever, but there was definitely a change in tone in Poch's interviews after the semi final. At the time I thought he'd just got the hump with everyone saying we needed a trophy, but is it that much of a stretch to think he'd been approached by certain clubs?

He's Martin Samuel's glove puppet, so it's more than a finger that's there now.[/QUOTE

Attractive enough odds to entice a few gullible bets on Skybet after a Sun exclusive........it’s almost like there’s a connection somewhere
They only own about 10% of it now, they flogged the majority years ago.

Interesting that Sanchez has just signed a new, long term contract.

I’d very much doubt that a first team player would sign a new long term contract if there was a real chance Poch was off.

There seems to have been a change in Poch’s stance and manner with the media. From meeting him this during the season let’s be under no illusion that he is very very ambitious and wants to be a winner.

He wants the next level, and I would suspect he wants that with Spurs. But only if he is properly backed. Hence I see why he’s let a potential fear spill over with the media. From what I understand he and Levy do get on very well. I have a slight niggle with some of those around Levy though.

Levy must back Poch completely with serious investment. The consequences would be disasterous.

The thing about the Chelsea link is it doesn't really make sense. If Poch leaves its because he doesn't fee backed, last season we have had Conte everyday complaining that he doesn't feel backed and supported and its the same kind of story time and time again. Thats not where he'd move to where he hypothetically to leave.

I could understand if it was PSG, Bayern, Madrid, Barca, even United but Chelsea? Literally the only reason would be a bigger pay packet. In what other respect are they superior to us? They don't have better players, a better stadium, infrastructure, tradition. And If Conte is to believed then he hasn't been backed, so why on earth would Poch leave us to go there?

I think it would actually be the dumbest managerial move i'd ever see.
