Can everyone please stop calling Guardiola Pep like they know him, really winds me up. The guy is a classless prick

Those kinds of abbreviations piss me off anyway. I guarantee you won't find a single post of mine referring to our manager as anything other than Pochettino.

I think a man who look like a foreskin and who manage a plastic team should shut up. I have no respect for him at all. At Barcelona, he was gifted one of the most talented team in history. Xavi, Iniesta and Messi. A traffic cone would also manage to win titles with those players. The same goes for Bayern. Superior starting eleven and squad compared to the other teams in Bundesliga.

Guardiola's response:

http://www.skysports.com/watch/vide...am-hotspur/11079716/i-was-never-disrespectful

He says every time "Harry Kane's team". Either he doesn't know or understand the difference between "The Harry Kane team" and "Harry Kane's team" (which could be a genuine foreign language speaker's mistake), or he has forgotten that he said the former and not the latter - or he is just trying to play cute to wriggle out of it.

Also, look at his initial reaction - it's like a meth-amphetamine junkie or summit FFS!

Also, would it be possible for the journo/interviewer to get any further up his effing arse?!?

Personally, I think he knows full well what he said.

It’s quicker to write on a mobile. See also Toby, Jan, Jose and whatever. It’s shorthand and easier, I don’t think they’re my mates and I wouldn’t say it out loud. Happier hun?

Course he did. Textbook mind games, and he won the first battle as he’s pissed Poch off and managed to make him look small time and bitter to a media happy to paint it that way and kiss up to him.

Let’s hope we win the war as Poch and the Team are suitably encouraged to do them, and don’t get riled and lose our heads. He knows that us losing our heads is the best chance they have

What about AVB,VDV, Pele, Greavsie, which wasn't abbreviated, but affectionate...at least for us? Just like Poch is, and just easier to say, like Fergie instead of Ferguson.

Pele was a nickname and it's pretty laughable to imply anyone would use his real name. Never used Greavsie personally, but considering it uses more letters and syllables than 'Greaves' I'll allow it.

You have a point on AVB and VDV. I was never a huge fan of those abbreviations, but needs must!

They used the nickname 'cause it was easier..cue the abbreviation. It's always needs must, but agree there's a line somewhere...

The guy is full of shit, he knows damn well what he said and now he's changing what he said. The guy is a classless twat, he can learn a thing or two about class from poch.

People seem to forget Poch is an Espanyol fan and Guardiola is a Barcelona fan. When it comes to the crunch, there's no love lost.

I think that was the intention but the way he reacts looks like he didn't expect that type of response from Pochettino and then wriggles out of it, which reflects badly on Guardiola. If it was Mourinho, say, he would have smirked and made a flippant comment then changed the subject knowing he hit the target, instead of changing the story and trying to justify himself like a kid being caught misbehaving at school.

Anyway, not really a big deal.. we just have to beat them.

I don't care too much either way but Poch jumped the gun a little bit here.

I didn't get the impression that Pep was having a dig at us, particularly after praising us and our players to the hills last season (when we were arguably more of a threat to him than we are now).
