DO NOT CREATE ISSUES WITH THE BOOK, THE ENTIRE CLUB READ AND SANCTIONED IT!
You could have piped up earlier then, Hercs...kinell.

Even so, what the press does with it is another thing.

You can't release this info and not expect them to use it against you at some point. Also, without the heads-up, it does have a bumpy landing for some, like me, who think the timing is completely out of whack.

Its not really airing dirty laundry though is it, we all knew Dier wanted a move to united, we also knew that something was going on behind closed doors with walker last season.
Its one thing to think that - its another to know that.

There is an old adage - "Its better to let people think you are dumb, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt."

Same basic principle applies here - rumours of what is going on behind closed doors are just that - rumours. In most cases, its better to let people speculate about those rumours than to air everything out.

Nothing good - except a bit of money for Poch - will come from the book, and it does jeopardize carefully built relationships - if - and its still really an if - players no longer trust Poch to have their best interests.

I still love Poch - but really wish he had left the distractions until this summer...

Some of you are such precious little flowers. There won't be one word in this book which hasn't been sanctioned, in writing, by the subject to whom it refers. Not one. If there's a passage about Harry Winks going for secret midnight trips to Five Guys because he just loves how they cook chips in peanut oil, he will have legally authorised it.

You really think our club, who keep everything so watertight, would allow Guilleme Balague to just waltz around the training ground with a notepad and free reign to talk about anything without getting it authorised first? I imagine every on record conversation that took place did so with a club liaison officer, maybe even Donna Kenyon, present.

Bang on the money.

It's like some of our fans want something to moan about because they can't take the fact everything is going so well for us right now.

If anyone knows anything about how big organisations work and how PR teams work they will understand that every quote coming out will have been reviewed and subsequently cleared with the players involved. Nothing to worry about at all.

Or maybe players will think twice about handing in transfer requests mid-season or flirting with other teams after defeats and taking shit advice from their agents?

Why? Walker got his move, got exactly what he wanted. Dier probably would've if he'd pushed for it as well.

Players have the power, a few excerpts from a book aren't going to change that - it might stop players being honest with the manager in future though.

In your opinion.

Personally, i feel it's about doing things in the correct manner. Yes Walker got his move but the timing of the request. was off and in that respect he fucked the team. Hopefully there is learning from that at least.

Poch was spot on with his tactics again today. His team selection had quite a few people sitting around me at Wembley scratching their heads, No DM and Aurier at LB.

But he set us up perfectly to defend well and break quickly to devastating effect.

getting the book for crimble partly for the read partly because it is the only way I can say #thankyouPoch
Been a fan since the age of 5 (37+ years ago) and still can't quite believe where we are.....and do understand some of our fans who "wet the bed" when something seems slightly wobbly.....the oldies among us are used to so much stuff and nonsense, we can't quite let ourselves go when things go well....

Really interesting how the stats differ between or average games and then games v Pool / Madrid / Dortmund - where essentially we are sacking off possession in each and counter attacking. So exciting to see Poch develop and improve the team!
