We have already been approached, and Levy and Poch have told them to f*** off, well Poch was probably a bit more diplomatic. No doubt in a couple of years if the climate is right Poch will be on their list again, but for now he is not going anywhere.

Marry me.

I feel like there's some wishful thinking going on here. I think the biggest impediment to him going to Madrid is the amount they would have to pay to get him out of his contract. If they're willing to pay it, there's a strong chance he goes imho.

Go read the 2013 ITK archive. Every ITK was adamant that there was no way Bale was leaving. But suddenly, in the back half of July, the tone changed, and the discussion veered over to how much money we would demand. Things change, and it's not the ITK guys' fault.

Personally,I won't be calm before Real signs another manager, but I do believe Poch to be a man of his word, and therefore stay here at least another year. What happens after that depends on if he feels Levy's ambitions matches his own. Funny to read Real Madrid forums, though. Man, what a lot of spoiled brats...
I still feel that was all a bit like:
Madrid: How much for Bale?
Levy: He's not for sale.
Madrid: Go on, how much?
Levy: 100 million Euros, lolz. Now sod off.
Madrid: €100m it is.
Levy: ...Shit.

Can't see it because Levy knows that would be a false economy. Accepting 60, 70 even 80 million would not make up for the fact that Poch can work wonders on a relatively small budget. Massive risk to take what would be a relatively small amount compared to finishing top 4 and the riches that brings. Not saying that noone else could do it but a massive risk.

I think Poch is sat somewhere, down some cobbled Barcelona side street, sucking the heads of a plate of La Gambas and quaffing a temperate Rioja, happy with his day's work.
In Catalonia, I'd hope he would be drinking anything but Rioja, over-hyped and under-developed red wine which flaws are masked by heavy vanilla from french oak is not something one should be having when perefect, Catalonian wine is so easily available.
But I guess I'm straying ever so slightly off topic.

I think it’s highly unlikely that Poch would go without his team and since Perez, D’Agostino and Jimenez also just signed long term contracts it would cost Real a huge amount not limited to just buying out Poch’s contract . I think even Real have limits , even if Poch wanted to go.

The ageing Real superstars are not going to easily buy into Poch’s intensive training methods so to make it work for them Real would have to bring in at least 5 or 6 new young players , get rid of the likes of Ramos, Marcelo and Ronaldo. That is on top of buying out those contracts.

Unfortunately, that might be exactly the reason they want him.
Let him do the dirty work, take the blame, then get one of the usual suspects back in to manage next year.
