Damn, Poch is low-key great at playing the "game". Coming out with these damning statements on the same day Real Madrid loses 5-1 to Barcelona and just the day before Man City game. If this doesn't force Levy's hands, then nothing will.

Pretty sure the actual quotes would have been on Friday after his press conf. just been held back for the evening before the game..though of course he could have foreseen Madrid losing tonight, so timing well judged...

It will leak out into the press. ENIC & DL, can remedy it. Spend 150m! Simple as!

Or loose him. Yes, they get a pretty penny for him. Yes our star players will leave, though under contract. We take in loads, and sell the club, and start again.

The club has no choice but back him!!!

Please don’t go on about ‘we will never spend 150m’. There is almost no choice.

So in your educated opinion what will happen?....£150 mill spent or Poch walking??

Like yourself I am not convinced by either the context of the story or the timing of same.

Makes a great click-bait knee jerk read and it seems to be working.

Mauricio Pochettino has opened up and admitted he currently has the worst feeling he has had at Tottenham, despite leading the club to their best Premier League start.

Spurs have surpassed all their previous starts to a campaign, though still sit outside the top four positions.

quite understandable really

we did need to bring fresh faces in to give us a lift

his captain has caused a stir, and isn't preforming as regular.

the physio room is too busy.

he can't do his training sessions to the way he wants because our 12 WC players were all involved for at least 1 match after the groups, and have not had a preseason.

I'm sure he wanted to be in the new stadium himself by now, and due to the extra costs and rumours of no funds for January, unless we get lucky with offloading a few, he will be working with his main bulk and worrying about burnout.

due to the fixture scheduling he knows that 1 cup run is going to be very hard to continue unless we get the breaks on Wednesday, because of everything we might be lucky (or unlucky) to be dropping into the EL, and with it looking like a tight season, he doesn't have the resources to go strong for the FA Cup, knowing CL next season is important for the club.

that is a lot of pressure and a lot of weight on anybodys shoulders.

hope your reading this Levy you tight fisted git:whistle:

This is the bit. He doesn’t want to go on struggling without better players. He virtually says it here that we need to spend money.

“I don’t have the answer how we are going to act when we are going to move there,” said Pochettino. “It is easy to see in the last few years how we act in front of the market, how we act in front of everything and how the other teams were acting. That is the difference.

“Everything is not perfect but we are in a circumstance and a project that is completely different to another club, at the moment.

“But maybe when we arrive to the new stadium in the future, we will be in the same project, or we are going to act the same as other teams are acting like Liverpool, City, United, Chelsea and Arsenal.

No use getting debates on how he spends the money. Some of the targets would not cost more than a reasonable price. Not going to start speculating on names and areas etc. They HAVE to bring in at least 2 players in January, and agree 2/3 summer. What some are failing to understand, is no more wiggle room for DL.

He has to now get the players in. Over the odds it may well be. But it is our own undoing!

The excuses DL spilt for not bringing players in, and DC’s PR BS, has now been exposed.

DL and the owners won’t do it though. It’s not their style and never has been. This is only going to end badly.

Been thinking about this for a while.
I've always advocated a new stadium. We weren't going anywhere in the old one, we'd always be handicapped.

The thing is, did we really need to go as mad as we have? All the talk of best this and best that, biggest this and biggest that, what has it achieved? No naming rights. Delayed opening. Potentially crippling depts.

It'll be good and easy for the NFL franchise when that moves in later on though, which is so key to the Spurs footballing project of course..

He is basically now starting to defend him self and reputation, he has built it up and the longer he stays at Spurs with the same modus operandi the greater the damage to his reputation. A calling card to DL. Can DL turn this around?

First bit of straight up honesty coming out of the club since the summer. It’s refreshing tbh. I would have been more concerned if Poch was content after this summers shitshow.

Up to DL now, and if not, it’s Eddie Howe’s blue and white army.

Not good reading. I’ve always said he will leave if he feels betrayed. This isn’t going to end well reading those quotes.
He'll leave now for Madrid or in the summer for United. Levy bottled the chance to compete. Everyone knows it and still will go to the end of the earth to defend him. I have a feeling tomorrow will be Poch's last game in charge. Madrid will come in first thing Tuesday and Poch will bolt. But hey! At least mr second to none could have a chance to come back and get his ratio back up as caretaker(fucking kill me)

Its no calling card. The ship sailed. Levy betrayed him. Poch is not one to forgive.

Herc, mate. Levy will not back him in a million years. Even if he did the impossible and bucked up the will to finally back a manager, it wont matter because Poch is gone. He's been betrayed. Just look at the end of his Saints tenure.

Real Madrid is about to be open and you can bet Perez will come back in for Poch. Especially after these quotes
Not saying it's impossible or even unlikely that he'll go, I just think it'll take a bit more time if it does happen.
