I'd happily stake a years wages he won't go to Utd, no reason for him too. Utd didn't exactly back Mourinho with transfers, and he likes to develop talent from the academy, this currently isn't Woodwards MO, he prefers to spend big on ready made talent!

Looking at social media you’d think he was already gone. Honestly...

I mean, look, I get that we as Spurs fans have this weird complex about Manchester United after they nicked Carrick and Berbatov all those years ago. That was a long time ago though and we’re nowhere near the same club as we were back then. Plus, Man United are a club in relative turmoil.

Fans need to stop perpetuating this small club mentality and doing as much as any journalist to drive this silly speculation.

Literally every post I have seen just now has been Spurs fans saying “Poch to United then”. Why post that? Self defence in case it happens? It’s pathetic.

The man signed a new contract last summer, has rejected Real Madrid twice and has even talked recently about winning titles for us in our new stadium.

Focus on that.

The constant media speculation between now and the end of the season about Poch to Utd is going to be annoying as fuck, they'll use it to try to derail us at every opportunity

I'm not so sure. Poch fits the Fergie mould more than any other manager I can think of.

Gary Neville already making it clear Poch is the one they should target. Already making it seem like it’s a foregone conclusion.

They can all fuck off. From everything I know and heard of Poch, I’ll be amazed if he Jumps ship to one of our rivals in this league.

"Its about making sure the next manager is the right manager. They'll have to pay for him probably -if its the one we think its going to be"

I agree, but suggesting Jose wasn't backed (suggesting united dont back their manager), but then suggesting Woodward likes to spend big (suggesting they would for the right man).

Its a simple case of how much Levy values Poch. We can only hope its as much as we do, or this house of cards is going to come falling down.

The fact he turned down the biggest club in the world to stay gives me hope though.

Well at the very least.......

Poch will want backing in transfer market. If not levy can pay the taxi fare to Madrid / Manchester.

Might work in our favour.

I think we all know they'll be in hard for Poch. The thing that annoys me is that so many people think it's a foregone conclusion that as soon as they hitch their skirt, Poch will be all over it.

It's a huge project at Man Utd, they are light years behind. i'm not so sure Poch needs another one of those, and will walk away when we're so close to doing something.

That was before he was fucked over by Levy in the summer.

A couple of years ago I’d be worried but I’m calm now. Man Utd will not be in the champions league next year (we hopefully will be), we have one of the best stadiums in the world, we are a London based club, we are a project that keeps improving year upon year. Poch will want to get that monkey off his back and win a trophy with us. It would take him at least two seasons to get Man Utd to the level we are at currently. Never say never but this is the best time for Man Utd to come in for him. I can’t see him going just yet.

If he turned down Real Madrid what makes you think he'd want to go to Man Utd?

For one we dont know for sure he was offered a contract at Madrid.

Im not saying he will go. Im saying it foolish to say he wont go.

Make no mistake Man Utd is the perfect fit for him and they know that. Fergie is a big supporter and those feelings are reciprocated.

Haha, it looks like poch will have danny boy over a barrel in the summer transfer window(y)

It will end up 1 of 2 ways.....we get big quality signings (at least 2) or we are looking for a new manager. Rafa benitez here we come!

Unbelievably bad news for us that they've gone caretaker til the end of the season. Poch to United in every media outlet every single day unless Poch says no publicly, which he is unlikely to do.
