Poch is still very young for a manager, there's no rush to take his career to the 'next level' as footballers seem to do with their limited shelf life-- At least that's what I'm telling myself ?

I imagine Pochettino would like to lead us in at least one full season at our new stadium. Part of him must be thinking he’s done all the hard work to get this far and there would always be a ‘what if’ if he were to leave us this summer - potentially another manager reaping the benefits of his good work. On the other hand he’ll be 99% sure that the Real Madrid job will be available again within the next two or three years, and perhaps the United job too. I don’t think he needs to go yet - other opportunities will come round.

He's still young - he can manage United, Real AND PSG after winning 2 PL titles with us... at least 30 years to go if he doesn't decide to go back to his farm in argentina

Unfortunately I think this might be too big an opportunity to turn down.

I don't understand why you think Man Utd would be "too big an opportunity" for Poch to turn down buddy? Man Utd are falling behind us in every way! Their Stadium looks old and run-down in comparison to our new stadium, they have finished above us once since Ferguson retired and we just finished above them financially. We are a club on the way up and Man Utd are on their way down. We get angry about our players not having any loyalty to the club because they think Spurs are not a big enough club! How can we expect that to change if our own fans think we should just roll over because its Man Utd? Keep the faith because Poch is going nowhere! #COYS

Man Utd are traditionally a massive club but with Pep at city they are currently not the club with the best chance of trophies in their own city.. Poch will hopefully ? pass

Poch is tied to this club in more ways than one. It’s not as simple as him just up and leaving.

His son plays for the academy ffs. His family love London. His entire coaching staff and their families live in London. The new stadium coming. Everything about Spurs at this moment in time is in Pochettino’s image.

This is the first post I’ve seen that actually matches the username ?

All the post within this thread mimics the matches day threads when we go behind or when have a lead but the opposition scores.
Just look at the posts from some of the same members when this period passes and Poch is still at Spurs.......it will all make sense then ?

Well, not in revenues...

And, if you are a manager, and you have an unlimited budget, I think you fancy your chances to win trophies.

If Poch were thinking long-term - he would be mad not to consider United. I hope he considers them, and turns them down. I can see why Poch could prefer Spurs, but, let's not pretend that United is some terrible job all of a sudden.

I don't think Poch is going - but, he would have a much easier job shaping United than he will at Spurs. United will always have a bigger budget - and while Poch may not need to spend it all every year - its nice to know you can constantly refresh with a key player or 2, without worrying about the budget.

He'd have his work cut out with some of the big egos. He punted Adebayor, Kaboul and Capoue out at Spurs but who could afford to take on Pogba, Sanchez, Lukaku etc.. He's built a squad full of players he can trust here but he'd have to start from scratch at Utd and that's not how they work.

Couldn't agree more mate , fuck United!!! How are we ever going to build this club to one of europes most successful, if we shit ourselves every time a club like United sack a manager?. We are not in the early 00s anymore, this is a completely different club to the one when Beratov and Carrick were poached. They might be a bigger club but they are in a dire mess with no real direction whatsoever. Pochettino has everything he needs at Spurs to be successful from the best stadium in Europe, best training facilities in Europe along with one of the best acadamies in the country and a fantastic team he has built. Give that all up for a poisened chalice of a club living under Fergies shadow forever? Not a chance. Fuck United the Manc ****s

Still, they have managed to win 3 trophies (not counting CS) in the last couple of years.

He gets listened to at spurs. He won't at man united. Yes they'll spend loads of money again, but the manager won't be in charge of that. There's a bunch of commercial people playing football manager over there currently.

Jose eluded to it but times have changed, in years gone by Kane, Dele and Eriksen would probably be at Man United already. They don't have the ability to bully the way they once did.

They're a mess currently and if that's obvious to us it'll be obvious to Poch.

Why have sky sports got Mauricio Pochettino news conference as breaking news the day Mourinho gets sacked I Fucking hate all this shit to unsettle us.

Of course it’s something to think about but I feel poch will stay loyal for a few more years at least, and if we start winning trophies, why won’t he stay for good.

More likely he will say something like: "Always about the rumours. I don't like to talk about the rumours. I am very happy here at Tottenham, but in football, you never know what the future holds. But for today, I am very happy."

You've made a massive assumption there that Poch would be doing the signing. It doesn't look at all like that's been the case at United for some time.
