I heard the news about Mourinho within minutes of the announcement and not five minutes later I heard Talksport ask if Tottenham fans are getting nervous, it took them ten minutes to start the nonsense.

Levy might be feeling a bit sweaty now, we may actually get some January signings and Toby his 200k

I don't think Pooch is overly worried about trophys at the moment, I think this is part of the learning curve where he is learning to handle bigger stars at a bigger club with more layers of admin. He has a fantastic training facility along with the staff, he has medical staff that could probably staff any medical centre. All in all he has the whole package here, at the end of his tenure here I think he will be ready for any world class team.

Haha. Within hours of the story breaking of Mourinho going, Matt Hughes apparently already knows that Poch wants the job and then cites some stuff about a Spurs which is fairly common knowledge, like we didn’t buy anyone last summer and the new stadium isn’t ready. What a load of bollocks!

I think he's gone in the summer, I don't see why United would bother with a caretaker if Poch hasn't already given them the blowjob eyes.
Either that or Zidane has agreed to join in the summer after his year off, similar to Pep with the City job.

not being funny and obviously said with spurs tinted glasses on, i'd view the spurs project as far bigger than anything at united. they're already a superpower, finalizing making spurs a true superpower would surpass that imo.

Who is the last young player they’ve bought that has become a great player in the last 10 years?

I’ll wait...

It’s not 2005 anymore they aren’t the same club they use to be

Zaha, De Gea, the Silva brothers were highly regarded along with Nani and anderson, Vidic, Ronaldo, rooney.

My point was they used to vacuum up ALL the young talent, they haven't done that in a long time, even the last couple of seasons under Ferguson

It is true that Matt Hughes writes an awful lot of rubbish about Tottenham that seems to come from a personal dislike as opposed to anything approaching objectivity, but the Manchester Evening News have also been briefed by a 'source close to Pochettino'. What's that about smoke and fire?

The Manchester Evening News also congratulated Man Utd on calling Tottenhams bluff in the summer for Alderweireld

I cant wait for Poch to stay so he can shove redcafe and manure fans back to their hell hole

I think theyve overtaken Liver**** fans as most annoying and I dont think it will be just for today

That's a nothing article, Poch will listen to United offer? No shit, just like the Real Madrid offer he won't flat out say no or never, but if he's still happy at Spurs he will stay (hopefully) its up to Levy to keep him happy, which is the bit that worries me.

Nothing particularly alarming in that article, he's happy at spurs but would take into account an offer from Manure, not that he's gagging for it or would accept it.
