I dont want him to go but if he does we are now a club that can attract a top manager. No point worrying about it.
United were able to attract top managers and look where it got them! I would worry if Poch left some of the players would leave too.

Poch is onto a winner with this situation. It's an open secret that some at least at ManU want him and the same with Real. He now can see how hard Levy tries to get players in/out during January that he wants plus gets the likes of Eriksen signed up for long term. He also gets to see what life is like in the new stadium ... we hope.

I am not sure though that much has changed since Mourinho has been a dead man walking for a long time. Also Ferguson is still the yardstick which any manager going to ManU will be measured by and ultimately fail. I remember how for more than a decade after Busby retired that every manager they had was on a hiding to nothing. I suspect Poch would go to Real from us someday, or maybe stay here forever, and only take something like ManU as a later move

Regardless of whether they have any chance of getting Poch (and I don't think they do), Utd will take every opportunity to rock the boat for us. They're still in with a good shout at CL qualification so it's nailed on they'll be stirring the shit for all they're worth.

Good shout at CL qualification? ?

Pochettino (80%) v (70%) Klopp

I know Poch has been there a little longer than Klopp but this shows why I think Poch is definitely on his way to something very big at Spurs #COYS

Poch is already one of the best paid managers in the league and world football so money certainly won't play as big of a factor.

It is all going to come down to the team and the potential it has and right now we are by far in a much better position to move forward and be in contention for trophies not only in the EPL, but also CL.

All the money that United has is great and will go a long way in rebuilding them in record time. However, he will still need at least 2 Summer transfer periods and north of £500Mil to build a team that is on our level if his transfer hit rate is 100% and with that sort of spending the pressure to achieve success simultaneously is significantly harder and riskier for him.

I don't see him leaving with the uncertainty that is United right now. Let not forget that United team finished above us last season and now sits 13 points behind us. They literally sabotaged the manger and got him fired, because that is what happens at big clubs were all the power is in the hands of the players no matter if it is Bayern, RM, Chelsea, or United if the players don't fancy you will get fired. Ego is just too big at those clubs to be able to propery reshape the culture at those clubs.

Poch has a good relationship with Levy and Ed Woodward doesnt exactly have the best track record so maybe that is a factor. I think the bottom line is that Poch deserves to be backed and if he isnt then I dont blame him for leaving.

I trully believe this in Levys court now and if Pochettino leaves it will Levys biggest fuck up during is tenure because who are realistically going to replace him with?

Really can’t see him leaving for United. Madrid might be a different matter in a few years time.

Whilst I agree with graph 1 and the beginning of graph 2, I posit that we would have our pick of nearly anyone in the world. Champions League club, brand new stadium, major market, best league in the world...top 10 club in the world. Not many clubs you couldn't pry their manager away from.

I think you are underestimating the frustration of having zero to spend and your chairman consistently low balling targets and failing to deliver your plan B and C options let alone a Plan A - that can only last for so long

Also think you are underestimating what a jerk Mourinho is - those same Utd players would definitely respond to Poch. Luke shaw is in life with him

Unless there is genuine and consistent cash to spend going forward can understand why he might think he has take us as far as we can

Up to Levy to step up

I get what youre saying but I just dont see an obvious candidate to replace him.

Nice assumption based on very little fact

I got a nagging feeling that Poch will be leaving in the summer. Not United but Real..

I'd find some humor in this. Man U being the bridesmaid, hiring their 2nd choice and staying in purgatory, while Poch (after taking Spurs from A to B) goes to RM and has great success and we find our successor who turns out to be the guy who takes us from B to C (titles) and also happens to be a guy who was way down Man U's list of candidates.

And the process starts all over again.

Even BBC News at Ten is joining in. Report just now: “Poch is the favourite to succeed Jose.”

Get used to this, it’s gonna be relentless ?
