Clubs not being well run can change with s decent manager. Look at Arsenal.
That remans to be seen. So far they are in the same position they were last season, have played numerous shite teams during that unbeaten run and were shit lucky repeatedly. They do look better I admit but its easy managing a team when youre winning, its when you lose a few it gets bit more tricky.
Edit- and hopefully theyre about to go 2 losses on the bounce tonight :)

JJ not too confident:
Ultimately we know he will go at some point in the future but we are all hoping there is integrity &this is after he has achieved with us. I think it would be massively out of character and totally against his values if he went to utd however sadly nothing surprises me anymore ?

From BBC, ex Utd players really pushing the boat out for Pochettino. Surely we cannot have this constantly until the summer.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/46613641

Both Paul Ince and Darren Fletcher said Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino is United's ideal long-term replacement for Mourinho.

Pochettino said he remains "focused" on his work at Spurs after being asked about the vacant manager's role at Old Trafford.

"He ticks all the boxes for United as he has proven at Southampton and Spurs he can develop young players; he's got an attacking style and he's had confrontations with players but dealt with it fantastically," said Fletcher.

He added the Argentine would have the chance to "build a legacy, win trophies and establish himself as one of the best managers in the world" at United.

"Spurs aren't going to win the Premier League - they are moving to a new stadium and are going to lose players to pay for it but United have the backing and resources to have a plan that incorporates winning the league," he said.

"If Pochettino has ambitions of winning things then if United come calling, he'd be more than interested."

Ince said Pochettino may wait for his "dream move" of managing Real Madrid but could be lured to United.

"As well as Spurs have done, they have not brought a lot of players in and eventually he will get tired of not getting the players he wants and not winning trophies," he added.

He possibly meant look at Arsenal when Wenger came in? They were a shit show. He won titles, FA Cups, 20 years consecutive champions league, oversaw a 60k seat stadium and, despite what we all think, they're better set now than they were in 97 to stay nearer the top of the table than the middle.

The new stadium will be worth an extra 10 points a season. If we buy one or two major players next summer (e.g. CM and LB), and keep our best players (e.g. Eriksen and Alderweireld are the ones at risk) we could easily win the league under Poch.

Knew it wouldn’t be long before the Manu Brady brunch start piping up with their opinions. They are honestly worse than the biased Liverpool fucks!!! Always getting their voice heard and trying to rock the boat because United are so shit!! Gets on my nerves. Really hope Spurs nip this in the bud ASAP because this is going to go on all season.

The singing of Poch’s name tonight better be for the full 90 mins and the loudest the emptycrates has ever heard (from away fans, obviously it’ll be louder than the home fans ever manage). Do your duty guys he needs to hear this all season now.

Ultimately we're still seen as small fry for United to pick what they want from us.
They'd never bother going after klopp, or even the Chelsea/arsenal coaches if they were both their and successful over a 5 year period because it would seem impossible.

But the spurs manager easy pickings, he'd jump at a chance to join a top club .

Time will tell if we are still easy pickings

Very interesting that he would say those things. Is it some kind of mindfuckery going on or a friendly tip that the biggest jobs aren't all that rosy as some would suggest?
I think, like Poch, Emery is just a good bloke. :coffee:

Another lazy narrative.

He’s bought in 23 players in 5 years. Hardly bringing nobody in.

instead of singing he’s one of our own tonight.

We can swap the lyrics for we want you to stay, Pochettino we want you to stay.

All the resources, backing and plans doesn't seem to have worked for Mourinho, do they? They haven't won the league since 2012/13 - and they aren't going to overtake Pool, City, Chelsea or even us any time soon with their run-down, shit squad.
