I saw his comments re Eriksen.... This is not talk of a man who intends to jump ship and certainly not the talk of a guy who has held talks with Manure. If he did, then fucking hell they didn't impress him.

Comments on Sky Sports are "it's up to him (Eriksen) what he does"
Sounds like a man who gives no shits to me.

The two of you read the same section of an interview reported differently by two different media sources and the conclusions you have drawn are opposites. It just goes to show that media spin and confirmation bias are alive and well in the world of modern football. :)

I agree with Vagassd. Here is Poch's quote from the BBC's mini article on the situation.

"Eriksen is important to Tottenham. You would like this player with you but he has every right to do what he wants," said Pochettino before Friday's FA Cup third-round tie at League Two Tranmere.
"It will be fantastic if he will commit to the club for a long-term. He is happy here. He is showing his commitment. It's not only in our hands."

Seems like a very balanced and pragmatic quote to me, just stating the facts.

Biased Media: "Eriksen has every right to do what he wants ,,, It's not ... in our hands.".
Pro Media: "Eriksen is is important to Tottenham and happy here. He is showing his commitment."

To be fair - I only read an early headline.

As quoted above, the full article states
"It would be fantastic if Christian Eriksen committed to the club for a long time. If not, it's his right to do what he wants to do."
Which is like a bipolar answer that balances itself out. We'd LOVE it if he stayed but if he goes, meh!" :ROFLMAO:

What nonsense is this?

Man Utd open talks over £70m transfer as Pochettino DEMANDS 22-year-old sensation to play Christian Eriksen role for Red Devils

CaughtOffside understands the Red Devils have held initial talks with Mauricio Pochettino over taking over as their next long-term manager in the summer.
Not sure which is funnier, Maddison being the new Eriksen or Pochettino demanding which players ManUtd sign when he isn't their manager, be interested to know which days he is hanging out with Woodward.

To be fair, I like Maddison and do wish we'd pushed on with our interest. Pleaty recommendations always seem to come good (well, the reported ones) and the lad has stepped up to PL footy just fine. Anyway, Poch...

The stupidest thing in all this is a website called Caught Offside. Two kids, a dog, a mobile phone and an old laptop. The barriers to entry in footy webshits are really too low.

Caught offside is the worst sports website on the internet, fake news all the way.
When I saw it in the Mirror article I could not believe my eyes. They referred to this as a source of information.
Could not help making a comment: It's below human dignity to mention Caught Offside as a source of information. You can't be serious. It's unbelievable to what low can tabloid journalism fall during TW in particular.
