Some nice quotes coming from an interview by Talksport.
Ive always liked talksport and their integrity.

The quotes are just teasers from an interview they're airing tonight so can't post them here...positive stuff nonetheless.

Full interview at 7 tonight. I like the interviewer. Every time she’s on a programme or whatever she asks proper questions with understanding. Shes wasted attached to sky/talkSPORT etc.

I’m not a fan. While she’s clearly better educated than most of the idiots there, she often slips into the ‘spout the popular media opinion rather than anything she’s come up with herself’ trap.

Guys, this is creeping more and more onto SC and at the risk of being a killjoy, we can't have foreign language posts on SC whatever the source. There's no way we can vouch for any content nor take the time to check and moderate it. You might (rightly) think an interview won't contain anything untoward but we can't pick and choose, its one of those things that if we don't allow, we can't make exceptions. It's frustrating but there it is.

If you want to post a foreign language post, only post the translated version please.

I've cleaned up the post and any relating to it. Please do bear this in mind going forward.

Hopefully those quotes are enough to set everyone's mind at ease.

Lets say your a young manager with ambition and integrity you could go to Juve and receive never-ending transfer fund from your oil billionaires but and heres the thing you are going to a club that has won its league for the last six or eight years on the trot I am not sure on how many times.
So where is the ambition you have won the league before the season starts and from what I am reading the gap with the Milan giants and Roma is getting wider year by year so what is your incentive?
Its a bit like the Mourino/Pep/Klopp/Ancelloti and the like who flit from one uber rich club to another uber rich club where their finances dictate that they are almost certain to win a trophy every year and TV /newspaper/and all media outlets fawn over these managers as tho they are football gods.
Well Poch could stay at Spurs and create and leave a dynasty that would reverberate around the football world that had been achieved had been doneorganically without the input of untold funds from Russian oligarchs and oil rich arab owners and in the case of city backed by the wealth of a country.
As a sidenote I still believe with all my heart that Pep would not have had the success he has had without the £750 million put into his transfer fund .
So does Poch stick or leave I would dearly love to believe that he is a man of integrity and honesty and will stay to complete his vision but football being football I will not hold my breath.
I believe that the arrival of these uber rich owners have made the French/italion/and to some extent the Spanish and German leagues irrelevant as these owners insist on domination in the league that they own a team .
to some extent the same is happening here with city but the likes of Liverpool/Spurs if Poch stays/Arsenal /Man united can have a say in stopping these tossers ruining football as a competitive spectator sport (witness City 6 Watford 0)
So come on Poch show some real ambition and go for something with spurs that would be difficult or go to a uber rich club and get almost guaranteed success to go to one of these clubs is not shown ambition its showing that you prefer the easy way to success

Great post. I was like you once before I went all Spursy ?

At least she's clued up on football, unlike when Sky thought it would be a good idea to let Rachel Riley present a match. Fuck me that was painful, it was like she was reading from a script.

And she called Spurs bottlers, which she was clearly told to, but I've always hated her ever since for complying.
