Spurs could also increase their squad depth by making a £15million move for Norwich prospect Max Aarons.

The right-back has been a revelation for the Championship promotion hopefuls despite only making his senior debut in August.

A string of teams are watching Aarons, 18, with Spurs attending all of his matches and they are considering a formal offer. German club Red Bull Leipzig are also keen.

Norwich are under no financial pressure to sell, having trousered £33m for James Maddison and Josh Murphy last summer.

Tottenham’s only hope of signing Aarons next month would be to then loan him straight back to the Canaries for their promotion push.

Never seen this lad but a lot of other clubs fans are touting him as a big prospect.

Would prefer AWB personally if we're going to buy a rb and flog Trippier or Serge. But this chap might be a lot cheaper

Tbh if he doesn’t start in the next game or two I think he is anyway despite the new contract
And up steps kwp with another man of the match display. I think one of tripps or aurier will be gone in the summer and kwp number 1. If we signed this kid it would be for the next 2-3 years.

Trippier needs to be better defensively but going forward there are few better full backs with his delivery, I’m not sure on SA his had injuries just as he was start to show improvement. Yes sell one, I think Trips would be pretty valuable if we were to sell him, Preffer to keep him over the two, as his home grown and creates a lot.

KWP is def a real talent, we could do with an athletic full back to compliment KWP then we are set for years to come.

Ben Godfrey is the Norwich player we need to be in for. Very versatile defender, a more athletic, better passing, left sided Eric Dier.

I watched Norwich yesterday and he was excellent. He is absolutely rapid and gets up and down the pitch like Walker used too.

What impressed me most was his decision making and that he never gave the ball away. He was very composed whenever he had the ball. He was solid defensively too.

I think he is definitely worth £15m in the current market and would be a good investment.
