I'd be all in for Meyer as our long term plan B for Eriksen

The big question is would Meyer be happy to be Eriksens plan B. I know we might play up to 60 fixtures, but to do that we would need to go the distance in the 3 cup competitions.

After last night's U21 final I'm firmly in the sign Meyer camp. He was real good for Germany and set up their win with that assist.

Tournament influenced - I'd be all up for Meyer, Toljan and Stark.
As replacements for Sissoko, Walker and Wimmer. All within our price range and grasp

Meyer and Tolyan looked very good. I also like Spain's Dani Ceballos who has a £13M release clause and we have been linked with (but only by a shit-list site :cautious:).

I do think there some mileage in Toljean and Meyer to replace Walker and Sissoko, assuming Pereira and Barkley are not achievable. Toljean has the benefit of being two footed, so comfortable at LWB as well as RWB, Poch loves a bit of versatility.

Decent, nothing more. Why bring a player in for the kind of money being quoted when he'd need to adapt, he'd definitely need to improve...blah blah blah. Why not just throw one of our talented youngsters in? If not what's the point of having one of the most prestigious academies in the country? Think what Edwards could do with a season of opportunities, I'd be excited to see what young Jack Roles could do, a young lad that has been doing extremely well. I'm not suggesting that they're as polished as Meyer but given that he's not the finished article either (putting it mildly) then I can't see why we don't just blood our own.

Don`t rate him to be honest we already have better young players at the club who should be given a chance
