There's a rumour going round that the players have made their feelings known to McClown, and he's resigned after this game Eek

The other rumour all day has been that Robbo isn't even on the bench because of a bust up with McClown that also involves Defoe. Could it all be related?

Could we really get rid of McClown?!

Surely not. Would he really stay in charge for such an important game if he was going to leave. Oh well, I hope it's true.

Sorry, it's not some super ITK from me. I just picked it up on a few other boards, and had someone send me a message on Facebook as well (but he picked it off a board as well).

Fingers crossed.

My mate up at SunSport is keeping his ear to the ground, though it's not reached them yet.

I really hope Mclaren does go. Because if he doesn't, and assuming him and Robbo have fallen out i can't see Robbo having an international career under him, well that's until after Euro 2008 when Mclaren get fired.

Well the BBC says that Robbo isn't even on the bench so score 1/1 so far, Ray.

I also read some stuff about JD rowing with McClown. The line-up is apparently 4-5-1 with only Crouch up front. Not what you need if you're at home and going for a win (allegedly).

A back four of Richards, Scumball, Lescott and Bridge should give Croatia reason for hope as well.

But overall, I don't think he'll resign. I think he'll stick it out to the bitter end until sacked so he gets his pay-off. Hopefully the FA haven't given him a stupid deal like they did SGE.

What a shagsack face he was pulling at the end of the game. We were shitum today, the team he put out was sub standard, whoever chose to play against Neo-Germany was a chump, Fatty was rubbish. AGAIN. Crouch was the only player who actually stood out for me and this time it wasn't because of his lampost-like stature. He was really trying today, but aside from him only Bridge looked like he even cared. Beckham was off form apart from one or two crosses, Cole looked quick but no real threat, in midfield Gerrard can only do so much.

Steve McLaren = F-
