Rightly or Wrongly cancelled the Bronze membership this season!

Any ideas if the 2018/2019 memberships will be worth getting as I’m hearing members will be fighting for a small amount of tickets.

Lots been said about next years ST but nothing on members??

Given that there’s going to be about 41000 season tickets, and about 6000 tickets maximum for away fans, there should always be about 15000 tickets I’d imagine. At WHL there was usually circa 3000 away fans wasn’t there? Which means that, on top of the 21000 season tickets, there were 12000 roughly available for members to ‘fight over’. If it was worth it before, it’s worth it now. Admittedly you now won’t have any loyalty points, whereas I’m guessing you had some before, so it might be harder, but if you can afford it, go for it,

Ok I think I may go for it again, plus there’s always a chance for the early home games in say the FA Cup .

I know at WHL some used go to General Sale for games like Stoke , Swansea, Burnley, them games might be my best bet

I'll keep my lilywhite membership as its basically the only chance I will have of getting inside the new stadium for a game

Not that many - there's several thousand corporate seats too. Should be between 7-9k for members each match. So more than there were at WHL, but for the bigger matches you'll still need to be organised getting onto the ticketing site very soon after they go on sale.

Same boat here, had to stop bronze membership after several years, lost place n waiting list which was down to maybe 6k, and a lot of loyalty points. Always begrudged the loss of the points tbh. Was wondering whether it would be worth it at the new Lane but this thread assuages those fears a bit.

Yeah I’m unsure I don’t want buy a membership and then never get a ticket. For me It is about probably the not so bigger games just getting tickets for a few games wild do me

I’ve never had a season ticket but have rarely had any issues getting tickets for games I want, occasionally yes but in general it’s been ok.

I think there will be a lot more available on the ticket exchange next season as well from Season tickets holders relisting when they can’t go so overall I’d say it’s worth keeping the membership up

Been a bronze member for two years now. Will I ever get the chance of going to an away game? Seems impossible now with the number of STHs

Pretty sure it's due to be about 6,000 tickets for PL games, just as it was at WHL.

Only way I can see it is firstly very unattractive cup games (League Cup away to Carlisle on a Wednesday night, or a Europa League Group Stage visit to Azerbaijan at 4pm on a Thursday). Or secondly if our success tails off and we have a year or two where we're not really even challenging for fourth, I expect the demand will get a fair bit lower (but it'd still be the somewhat unattractive games and you'd need to have a lot of loyalty points). Even newer season ticket holders have only been offered three games this season, two at very short notice with no transport available.

Bronze is only £40 a year on d/d though? May as well just leave it renewing every year. I got one as soon as I moved down to London, got my ST last year.

It'll help but you'll always get tickets for smaller cup games and some early season cat C league games.

How did you not get a Wembley season ticket? I only became a bronze member last season and got one!

I was offered one however couldn't afford it at the time. Regret not doing it now. I think if i was a ST holder this season, i wouldn't spend the £995-1200 for next season's, however

I'm lost, I get that you couldn't afford Wembley this season, are you saying you couldn't afford the price for next season either?
If that's the case you probably are better off just having a LW membership rather than bronze. Although bronze does give you further priority for booking ahead of LW members.

My original question was do i ever stand a chance of going to an away game on just a bronze membership

I don't think so. I've accumulated 48 points thus far as a season ticket holder. With a few more home games I should get that over 50 - over 5 years that's 250 points as a season ticket holder. That's nowhere near enough for any away London derbies. Might get me to Stoke if I wanted to go anywhere near stoke. I doubt, with 40k season ticket holders they'd make it as far as bronze members anymore.

Yes you do have a chance. About the same as winning the lottery. The last league game to go to general sale was Sunderland away in January 2017 (game Rose got injured) . It was a night game which we eventually sold out in the end.

That's a shame. Even if a game does eventually go to bronze members, you'll need a hell of a lot of loyalty points, which i can't see myself accumulating over the next couple of years. Got 100 atm after two seasons, can't see this continuing after the next due to higher ticket prices

Can't help thinking that the worry about members tickets being hard to get is a bit overstated - if there's an extra 26k seats in the stadium, surely tickets must get easier to buy....

If there's a load more people with St's, surely that means that they will have come out of the pile of people scrapping for members tickets...

Away games are a different story though...
