It's incredible that such a famous person can be so lacking in charisma as Messi.
That's such s beautiful car it would lend even Messi some charisma. Not that he'll be driving it, I shouldn't think -- surely just an investment that's nice to look at.

Messi is much less of a **** than Cristiano. In fact, he actually seems like a decent, somewhat humble person. In other words, the complete opposite of the latter.

What makes Ronaldo a ****? The millions he donates to charity every year? The way he literally always gives young fans time whenever they pitch invade/whatever (whereas Messi ignores them like a prick) or the fact that he pays his taxes?

Yeah, he's arrogant on the pitch - but all the evidence I've seen suggests Messi is more of a prick off of it.

Used to hate Ronaldo because I bought into the media hype, but saw a vid of him visiting a children's cancer ward in Portugal, he was immense with the kids. You can't fake the compassion he showed.
Added to that he has no tattoos so he can donate blood, which he does regularly. Paid for life saving treatment for a fan when his parents wrote in just to get one of his shirts to action to pay for the op etc.
To tell you the truth if I was one of the best footballers on the planet I'd be fucking super models galore, and be letting my metro side out, in regards to grooming and shit.
Why should he look like a bum just so people can say look how humble he is.

For me you can tell a lot by how team mates react around them both. The charity stuff is amazing but it's incredible from both of them (and most top stars to be fair) the big difference is that Ronaldo milks his to make sure everybody knows he's done it (messi also paid for a kids operation a few years back - LINK)

With Ronaldo he has to be centre of attention. it feels like team mates have to acknowledge how great he is as a player, he rarely celebrates other players goals and has a tantrum if they don't pass the ball

Whereas with Messi he feels more part of the team (IMO) and the three pronged attack is lethal because all three are just as happy to provide the assist as they are to be the one scoring.

He got knocked, he could have bought a new one for less.

As for all the charity shit. Charitable donations are tax right offs. And do you seriously think that footballers wake up in the morning and decide to visit their local childrens home? It is arranged by their agents as pr. Thats why there just happens to be a photographer and film crew there.

Not saying they don't care, but don't try to make them out to be saints.

We moved away from the innocent until proven guilty approach now? Any link to a crime. GUILTY!

You must be joking? He didn't pay his taxes so is going to court. This isn't fucking Miss Marple. It's black and white facts and figures. Not a he said she said.

I think you need to learn how the legal system works. He is accused of something. He denies it. He then goes to court and they either find him guilty or not. When that happens you can accuse him of tax dodging.

You can donate blood if you have tattoo's @barry , you have to leave it 3 months I think after you've been tattoo'd just in case of infection but after that short quarantine period you can give blood.

He has income which he didn't pay tax on so is now going to court. That is the fact. The court case will determine if there was an excuse. Just like harry.

This isn't a murder where you have to go through evidence and witness reports. The tax office has the facts. That he earned money that he didn't pay tax on. They will now determine whether or not this was illegal. Which i'm very sure it is as he has already paid some money back.

And are we really ripping him for tax dodging? Which one of us hasn't done something to try to dodge taxes before? Or at least would if we knew we could get away with it?
