Agree but not this summer, Vorm in to me means that Lloris will be off next summer for sure.
We all know that he is bigger than us at this point, Bale was too and he deserved to be where he is now.

Vorm is a quality keeper at Premier League level, he could easily keep things stable between the sticks (as long as we add a decent centre back too) if Lloris chooses to do the inevitable.
The only way we can hold on to Lloris beyond this season is to qualify for the CL, and the likes of Barca, Real and PSG don't come knocking.

Barca just signed Ter Stegen
Very long term GK there

PSG
LLoris has said he doesn't want a French league return.

Real Madrid. - our very special partnership where we sell them our best players and they supply our rivals with players. Is probably the only team I can think of that may have a need for him. In which case mega money will be had for LLoris and vorm already being at the club will help soften him leaving a little until we find a replacement.

Cant see the point of Vorm myself. Surely no way he going to 'compete with Loris to be first choice keeper', and Brad still does just fine in cup games.
Maybe next time Lloris sustains a shocking blow to the head like he did last autumn, the coach will be able to send on a keeper he feels confident in playing in the Premier League?

Brad is being retired into an ambassadorial role and 3rd choice, I'd expect this'd lead to a season-long loan for Jordan Archer whilst Friedel sees out his last year at THFC, so as to continue Archer's development.

for the price we look to be paying it's a complete no brainer for me, if we're sucessful & LLoris stays for a few more years then he's part of a successful Club and is fighting for the jersey/ playing cup & Europeon matches & is therefore, playing at a higher level, if we suck, Hugo goes & he's our No.1, & for the record I think he's quality & its a great move by our Club
I actually question "the price we look to be paying" (With Siggy going the other way it actually looks a high price to pay). But I suspect it's part of the Ben Davies deal, and if/when we also land him it will be a good piece of business.

Grand!!!

Now we just need to lock down an attacking midfielder or two and the lineup will be complete.
