There doesn’t seem to be an active player thread on him. I believe it was Hercules who stated that he’d be off this summer. Anyone find any updates on that? It’s been surprisingly quiet regarding him (maybe something will pop up after the final?).

Pretty sure his contract is up so he'll just leave

Don't think Alfie Whiteman will even count as HG next year to take his spot. He's only 20 and won't turn 21 until October.

Wouldn’t be surprised to see him end up back in Holland or retiring his knee is shot I still can’t believe he’s here with us.

Great pro though

As a 20 year old, he's outside the rules, so to speak.

Teams can use as many under-21s in the Premier League as they like regardless of nationality.

Cheers for being such a good professional, Mich.

If there is one blemish about your time with us it was you didn't knock out one of the Chelsea coaches at the battle of the bridge game, if you had then it would have gained you an instant hall of fame place at the club.

Thanks mich.

Any idea if we are promoting a youth keeper? Any of them good enough to be 3rd choice?

He's been excellent and will be a great pick up for somebody. Model pro. Good luck for the future Michel.

Good professional. Never heard him complaining in the media, even when having to play 3rd choice behind Gazzaniga.

Wish him well for the future.

If we do promote a keeper from the academy it will most likely be Alfie Whiteman - he's been training with the first team all season and was our 4th choice keeper

Vorm was a very professional backup and was serviceable when called upon. But we really need to have a English 3rd choice. Hopefully we don't sign anyone and Whiteman joins the first team.

For a backup player, Vorm was really invested to Spurs. I remember him getting involved in the melee at the end of the 'Battle of the Bridge.' Always thought he was a decent understudy for Hugo and I was even surprised that we managed to get him from Swansea where he was first choice at the time.

A great shot stopper, but teams realised they could crowd him out at set pieces because of his height. Still a model pro though!
