Allen walked out on his contract to tour Australia with the barmy army watching the cricket.
I love the cricket, but that was an incredibly stupid thing to do
Agree, he should have gone to the windies instead

Hmmm....in Poch's first season he played Vorm in every game of our League Cup run until the final itself when he stuck with his best XI. There doesn't appear to be the Cech/Ospina arrangement that Arsenal have where Ospina plays every cup match.

Vorm is about as reliable a backup as we could hope for, but it's clear that for a game like this you start with the best keeper in your squad. Only a fool would argue that that isn't Lloris.

Vorm, in ESPN:

"We agreed the option in April and [the news] came out in June," he said. "I'm still very happy here. I didn't have other options. Maybe I would if we looked for it.

"It might be difficult to understand on the outside but I feel very appreciated here. I've been here from the start with [Mauricio] Pochettino and the staff. I've really seen us evolve to where we are now. With the new stadium coming up it's such a joy to be here.

Can’t believe this guy is our second choice. He is absolute turd of the highest order. Waste of wages, money, hair gel and a squad space. Nice guy, shit shit ‘keeper. Flog asap. “Best second choice in the league” ffs. Hilarious

Have said it on here and said many times before.....

Michel Vorm is so happy here as he has a serious issue with his knee it happened at Swansea he lost a lot of his physical capabilities some of his jumping etc. It’s why he was so happy to come sit on the bench. We won’t be able to ship him out that easily.

Good shot stopper but as he’s got older and with age his physical capabilities are quickly catching up with him.

Personally never ever want to see him in goal for us again unless it’s a league cup game I actually can’t remember a game we’ve won of importance with him in goal

Spot on. Never a sense that his defence fully trusts him.

We always concede from corners when he plays. Lloris is a massive loss unfortunately.

He was pretty awful today but so were most of the players. The outfield players do need to help the keeper out and the amount of unforced errors today put massive pressure on the fella. He will never be Hugo, we all know that.

Don't think I've ever seen a keeper let the ball roll in between his hands like he did for the second goal

Made some good saves but ultimately he should have done better for both goals

Gazza definitely deserves a chance, we always look likely to Concead with Vorm in goal and that is not a good omen

only now am i watching back the goals having been at the game, and dear oh dear its even worse then i originally thought for vorm, the second one in particular, both goals basic errors. Gazza has to get a chance!

I definitely dont feel confident when I see him between the sticks, not the way I felt with Friedel or Cudicini.

I'm not a player hater and won't ever spout vitriol and bile about any man that pulls on the Spurs shirt.

Today he wasn't good enough, his confidence looked shot to shit from the off.

I don't think he will get any better. Really would just like to say thanks but I don't want to see him in goal again.
That display today was a Karius car crash moment.

That hurt me to say that.

Ship him out? He was almost out of contract this summer and we gave him a new one. Shit decision.
