That lineup is a shocker. Boateng is being thrown in in a very important match without ever having played for us before. Thiat is crazy!

Two strikers on the bench away from home? How very Martin Jol…

Now, should I stick with my prediction that Keane and Berbs will be our scorers today?

Very happy with this line-up... It`s good to see that ramos has the guts to try new combinations/show some players that their places in the team arent safe

Get used to it. Looks like he's not going to be afraid to make changes. How is he going to learn the players strengths and weaknesses if he doesnt see them play in competitive games?

Fair play to him i say.

It will be interesting to see how the line up performs. If it comes off some people will think Ramos to be a genius, if it doesn't come off some people will see him as shambolic.

Expect lots of changes upfront with Ramos at the helm.

there are lots of spanish morrocans...

That's not quiet true. There are two spots in the North Africa area that belong to Spain, one is Ceuta and the other Melilla. Those two are surrounded by Morrocan territory and some of their inhabitans are of Morrocan origin like Nayim, and have Spanish nationality but you won't see many Spaniards of Morrocan origin in the rest of Spain.

Bravery or Stupidity

I'm writing this post as we make a bright start at Boro but with Ramos starting Bent & Defoe as well as Boateng is this bravery or madness.
While Ramos is looking at his squad and almost playing this league game as pre-season he could find himself trying lots of different formations and line ups and before we know where we are, we could still be bottom 3 at Christmas!

Hindsight is a wonderful thing and I hope his bravery gets a positive result today but If not how long will the fickle board and fans give Ramos to get it right?

If we win 3-0 and go on a 15 game unbeaten run the please ignore all this and accept Mr Ramos as the new Paul Daniels.

Boeteng has been tough in the middle. His touches have been good, he hasnt been trying too much - just simple balls.

Defoe and Bent have linked up exceptionally well. Both have shown a willingness to chase the defenders and run at them with the ball. A lovely little shimmy, run and whipped ball in by Defoe almost saw Bent score his second but the ball skimmed the wrong side of the post.

We still look shakey but Ramos is so far being justified in his introduction of these three. I wouldnt bank on this being a clean-sheet as our defence and Robbo are still time and again choosing the wrong way to clear the ball. Fingers crossed though.

Well seeing as Bent needs a run in the side, and has scored.. It could well be bravery. And Boateng looks good, so far so good.

But lets see if he could do what Jol couldn't. And close out for a nice little away victory

he's giving everyone a chance, dropping keane is a big question mark imo

i think its WAYYYY too early to start questioning the mans tactics.

may i ask how many uefa cups and super cups and copa del reys you've won? exactly

IF you are a first choice 11, few rotations type of supporter you better start criticising Juande Ramos right away , cause he is Benitez mark II in that respect. The difference is that Juande plays far more attacking football, especially at home.
