I am thrilled with the amount of players we are linked with and i guess we are in for a special interesting summer.
However, i still feel that we need to keep some of our players as back up and squad players.
I have read over the last few days that some of us would want our current midfield players such as Jenas, Lennon Hudd, Zakora and even Steed to be sold.
Why would we want to sell these players?
Steed has really played well for us and we have not used him in his respective position. Surely, he is needed in the squad!
Lennon has been off form since that injury but he is young and we have seen him at his best two seasons ago. I look at Walcott and think of our own Lennon and think that we should give him another season.
Hudd has done well. He has lost weight, score goals and just need to develop his pace but his passing is good!
Jenas isn't that great but he isn't that poor and with the amount of games that we will have next year with Europe and the Cups, i guess he has proven that he can perform and is developping under Ramos.
Zakora is maybe the only player that i feel we need to cash in on. He breaks down play but his passing needs to be better and he can't score. In the Carling Cup, he should have scored that break, my guess is Hudd would have and Hudd is a good replacement for him at this time!
Lets remember that these midfielders were the players that under Ramos beat Chelsea, Arsenal and competed with Man Utd.
Surely we need to keep them and just add better players in that midfield.
Lets cash in on Players like Gardner, Stalteri, Robbo, Zakora, Rocha (who i don't see anything wrong with but seems like Ramos don't really like him),Tainio, Boateng... and i would have kept Chimbonda too. He has done well even on the left. He may not be playing many games next season when Bale returns.
Bear in mind, we still have young players like Bale & Gunter.
