I liked Mido.

He was cracking in tandem with Keano and was very happy when we got him permanently as gave fantastic depth up top, but sadly didn’t go so well for him thereafter.

Its always a mistake to leave Spurs!.

He actually looks slimmer now than when he played for us which is bizarre!. I remember him coming up for a corner at the Paxton End in his second season, puffing and blowing as he was obviously out of condition and he had thighs like a prop forward!. Poch would have bombed him out in no time!.

That was always partly his problem*, he was either trim and solid or a barrage balloon and you never knew which one you'd get, match to match, club to club.
Anyway I hope he's happy and healthy, enjoying life.

*As a pro-athlete this is a discipline problem. I don't lump it on members of the public, we all have our struggles. I say this as someone that too has struggled with weight all through my life.
