Feels that way sometimes. We've got SkySports on all day here and in the build-up to any big game they seem to show highlights of past encounters. Unfortunately for us, we were absolute shite for ages, so each time it's a Spurs game I see us taking pastings out of the corner of my eye

the joys of working for the bookmaking industry and not being in control of a tv turner

I have just seen Garrager on sky lambasting Samba for the tackle he got a red card for but the Pogba tackle was worse and was defended by Jamie Redknapp because "Pogba is not that type of player" well for me he is that type of player and as Robbie Keane said he got away with a similar tackle against Shelvey .
I have decided that I will only watch the match on sky and not listen to the pre match and after match talk as it ends me up because these pundits have no integrity and change there views to fit their agenda.
Mike Dean is a coward or a just a bad ref for not having the balls to give a definite red card.

I think you will find Shelvey got away with it v Pogba. I hate Man U, and anything red, but look at it closely and you will see Pogba went to do the step over to shield it before Alli arrived

Just because he tried to do something but didn't doesnt mean its not a red card, should mane not of got sent off against city last year cos he didn't mean to kick the keeper in the face. What about if a player shoots at goal but misses do we award the goal because he was trying to score (do something different) . JFC

Did make me laugh how he nonchalantly threw that yellow card up and held it between his two fingers.

what mane done was seriously dangerous his foot was 5 foot in the air, and could of gone with his head. you can't expect a player that's already in full flow doing a manouva a foot off the ground to be able to pull away that quick. when it 1st happened I called red, but after seeing it again I could see Pogba couldn't do anything about it

unfortunately how ever much I love Spurs, I will also view everything as a football fan before going OTT

I used to like him because he had the courage to take difficult decisions, but the last few years he's been pile of shite. The non free kick against Arsenal a year or two back stands out as one of his most ridiculous decisions.

I think it is plausible that he has become afraid of his reputation and now is overly self-inhibited when reffing Spurs.

not sure off the top of my head, but heard he is now 50, and I'm hoping that this season will be his last

trouble is refs that are coming through aren't too good now days

edit: VAR is going to hopefully help, even if it will cause delays

Refs are generally horrible, then can't cope with the pace. You need a 22 year old sprinter with 15 years of experience to have a good ref.

You realise Redknapp and Carragher are two different people?

I remember Dean sent off Eboue at the Lane in the NLD (maybe 7 or 8 seasons ago?). Sky showed a brilliant slow motion replay of him giving the red card ....it was brilliant....but his decisions seem to have gone against us a bit more in recent times.

I dread it every time I see him down to referee our matches but just in general he has been terrible in a lot of the games he officiates

He was terrible but I can’t remember us having a favourable ref at home all season. They always seem to be against us

We didn't lose because of him... Unless it is a game changing decision that leads to a goal etc then as far as I'm concerned too much emphasis is placed on a refereeing performance.

I know I'm unrealistic in my comments but I guess I am always more focused on our game than the referees game.

Don't want to sound like someone wearing a tinfoil hat. But having watched few pool and city games this season I genuinely believe they are being refereed different than other teams. Prime example was Pool pen for holding at corner, has anyone other team got this decision this season? The only game that pool didn't get their decisions was the city game. Wonder why.
