Argentina striker Diego Milito is hoping for a move to England and the Tottenham target's agent is in England to talk to 'several' Barclays Premier League clubs.

The Genoa striker has also been linked with Manchester rivals United and City recently and agent Fernando Hidalgo is in no mood to dampen transfer talk after the 29-year-old's impressive season in Serie A.

Reports this morning suggested the 29-year-old is on the verge of sealing a £14.5million move to Jose Mourinho's Inter Milan, but Hidalgo said: 'Is Milito going to Inter? I'm in London and I'm talking to several clubs.

'I can't say which clubs they are I can only say that they are important.

'Is it true that I've met directors from Manchester United?

'If I'm here there's a reason, there are interesting offers for him in the Premier League and we are evaluating them.

'Of course Milito wants to go to England otherwise I wouldn't be here.'

Milito has scored 19 goals in 26 Serie A appearances for Genoa since returning to the club from Real Zaragoza in the summer.

Not really sure he's any better than what we already have.

Hmmm.... Didn't think he wanted to come to England before.... he might be a good signing - but I'd rather we left our strikers alone

    Milito is class, no doubt.

He'll go to city, or maybe Chelsea if Drogba leaves. There's no way we can compete on this one and to be honest, given his age and lack of pace, I hope we don't. Not that he wouldn't be able to do a job for us, but City will probably get him for about £20mil and £100,000 a week, which he just isn't worth

Probably missed the boat last summer, when our directors dragged their feet over his age and price (which was at least 4 mil less than Pavlyuchenko BTW).

May not be such a good idea now that he is 1 year older.
