If Spurs move to Milton Keynes to play their football for a season or two we should all boycott the club completely. This is another piece of evidence of Spurs trying to do things on the cheap. The fact Levy has failed to back another new manager is beyond a joke now they are considering moving 50 miles out of London.

I agree with the sentiment that MK is too far away, but to just thrown in not backing the manager loses you points.

moving to MK for a season or two is an absolute joke. The Olympic Stadium move was classed as wrong and that's just the other side of London.

we should go all out to share with Arsenal, forget them being our rivals, its right next door to us and it's a massive brand new ground. other clubs share grounds with their rivals, we should be big enough and bold enough to do the same.

For me personally MK is a good move as I can be at the stadium within 10 mins...
But that's a personal thing, and I don't think it's the right thing for the club.

Why would arsenal let us ground share with them? Their fans would go mental, I wouldn't want them sharing WHL

Why not?

chance for them to earn money on the weekends their ground isn't in use?

Bet Levy would let anyone share our ground at the right price

Ha!

Spurs should just build a new ground out in Kent, near Ashford... no big clubs in Kent, what a catchment area it would have...! #chingching

From a personal perspective I'm not keen on the idea, it just doesn't feel right to me but I guess anywhere other than WHL would feel the same.

But to rant about boycotting seems a bit daft to me; whilst I do not doubt some of this is down to ENIC/Levy penny pinching, I also appreciate that those pennies will save the fans money on tickets, the same pennies will contribute to our transfer business so in support of the club i'll happily keep watching until we can play back at the Lane.

Stadium work like this is rarely straightforward and it's not going to be built overnight, fact is considerations like this have to be made.

I don't support that we are not backing the manager - there simply isnt any evidence to say this is true.

I do however feel very uncomfortable with moving to MK for 2 seasons. I for one wouldn't be able to afford the additional cost and time to get to games there which means for 2 seasons i wouldn't be able to support my club. Also as i am on the season ticket waiting list i will have to continue membership if i am hoping to get a seat in the new stadium without using it. Additionally for those that cannot make it regularly to MK what happens to the loyalty points? Having switched to a system where they are no longer banked for more than 3 years i would see my high tally almost wiped clean with a 2 year absence. Moving out of London just doesn't seem like the right move for the fans and i cannot see the club risking losing two years worth of new support. The problem is the number of grounds suitable for us to share. I think another prem club will be difficult, especially the likes of Arsenal and Chelsea because of likely European and domestic cup runs making too many fixture issues for the league to agree to it. West Ham obviously wouldn't work owing to recent issues with the bid for OP and their fans being, well, not nice. Assuming Wembley, Olympic and Twickenham are out of the question on a regular basis (we could look at NLD and other big games here on occasion) that leaves Fulham, Charlton and possibly Palace as the other grounds we could look at. All are smaller than WHL, and indeed MK, but they would allow a number of fans to still follow their club. Personally Fulham would be my choice as it is central so fans from north and south of the city would be able to attend fairly easily.

Wembley Stadium 90,000
Twickenham Stadium 82,000
London Olympic Stadium 80,000
Emirates Stadium 60,338
Stamford Bridge 41,841
White Hart Lane 36,257
Boleyn Ground 35,647

The Valley 27,111
Selhurst Park 26,309
Craven Cottage 25,700

Why can't we play at white hart lane while the stadiums being built?
I'm not sure why but it's probably due to the fact that staying at WHL could delay the new stadium being built, and that's obviously something no one wants. Or maybe it's just not possible to do the construction with WHL still there...?

Is that a fact? Why would it delay it? Not being funny but I haven't been following stadium news.

Oh and this is a stupid thread, you're slitting your wrist based on ITK that could be wrong and coming to some stupid conclusions that don't even support what the ITK suggests.

I don't know. I don't understand these things but I'm sure someone said it at some point. It might have been ITK...
