Oh for some good news...

Liam Kelly, triumphant after his team Kilmarnock beat Celtic to win the trophy in the Community League Cup Final, was devastated to receive the news after the game that his father who had been watching from the stands died from a heart attack after the match.

Sorry it's yet another sad story folks...

Jack was my manager at U15/16 level for a few years, his eldest son was in the team I played in. A proper football man, was a great influence on my team as kids and his sons who have done him proud.

I suppose a small positive in it all would be that he seen his sons side win the cup.
