I was kinda using that example to show where the World Class barometer was.

The World Class barometer is subjective and arbitrary.

How would you define World Class?

Isn’t Kane better than Benzema?, who has made it into the FIFA best XI squads before?

In his last three years in England Ronaldo scored 91 goals, in his first three years in Spain he scored 146 goals which pretty much shows how much easier it is to score goals in Spain and so comparisons are not a good way to judge world class, blimey even Benzema scores there!
That said Ronaldo is world class and more, one of the true greats.

Soldado scored 24 goals in one season in Spain. Says it all.

Yeah but he was really really unlucky for us. His hold up play was amazing and he created so many goals for others. Your comments are very unhelpful and quite hurtful

Were poor bobby to read this thread he’d be really upset

Michu hit his highest tally he's ever scored in his career in England as has Torres so I wouldn't take the Soldado case as some sort of evidence and Ronaldo hadn't hit his peak until he was in Spain.
