Well Shearer also reckoned the second Sunderland OG should be given to Pelle, even though it wasn't going in without the defender's touch... I turned it off after their rundown on the penalties, so I don't know if they even mentioned our good attacking play.
I missed the game live so only heard 2nd hand about the shit ref, though there was nothing on MOTD to imply he had a bad game.

According to Jimmy FH he had a good game, though it's probably part of the BBCs contract that they imply the officials do a good job.

Bunch of ****s

Shearer said on MOTD2 extra today that yesterday's performance shows what a great job Tim did last year. I NEVER watch MOTD when Spurs lose but I will watch MOTD2 tonight because I would like to watch the QPR game again because I have literally never seen a game like it in my life.

So, reading the comments here the pundits on MOTD last night did not think that the ref was the reason we lost yesterday. Neither do I.

I fear we would've lost regardless, as Aguero is just a beast and was unstoppable, but the ref certainly didn't help things. He made a lot of really bad calls. Even our pen wasn't a pen.

Sterling...Coutinho...Caulker won't forget this game in his life..
Shearer says Liverpool defenders don't trust each other. Amateurish.
Balotelli has his back turned as well as the defenders for the Dunne OG.
'Arry's got the 'ump wiv Taarabt!

About time Shawcross-it's like it is almost legal. If refs do it more often...exactly. Soft Stoke pen, though. Crouch is one of the worst headers of a ball I have ever seen. I thought the Swansea goalie was weak for the winner.
I agree with Hughes about managers shutting up about refs.

Nice discussion there between the chairman and the Welshman. Was that Jason Statham in the crowd?

Nothing on MOTD2 about Soldado forcing Hart to save after the penalty. I am shocked!

What did he say? Presumably something about Garry Monk not happy with Stoke's penalty? Ironic, considering Hughes is one of the worst when it comes to moaning about referees.

I do think we need to do something about the bad decisions but it has to be done in a formal way. And the rules need to be changed from a penalty and a straight red. A straight red for outside the box and a yellow inside the box.

I think it's fine as it is, in principle. The penalty replaces the goalscoring opportunity which has been denied, the red card is the deterrent to stop defenders just fouling and hoping the keeper saves the penalty.

I really enjoyed MOTD this weekend... It's so much better watching it when you don't know the results.

It's on and let's hope I will be watching MOTD2 tomorrow.
Cracking goals both different to make the score 1-1 Chelsea QPR game.
Hazard runs into the QPR guy. Soft pen

I watched the last 15 mins of the Hull Soton game live and Soton impressed me. But that was a dumbass goal.
Comm says 6 clean sheets for Soton.
Monkey man bigging up Clyne. I don't get him at all. All the "highlights" Keown showed I could see disaster if he doesn't get it perfect.

Song lucky. Fantastic Downing ball for 1st WHU goal..Diouf has to score there. Then Downing equalises.

MOTD pundits expose why Moses is at Stoke. Both WHU goals down to his poor play.
As Maureen says-what is the point of a talented player if he will lose you the game?
Are we clowns at a circus?
