Ten minutes of match highlights, most of which are replays, followed by twelve minutes of chat. I'd rather see more football and less talk.

I wish Champman and Shearer was on tonight's show, Think the incident would have been analysed better I reckon.

Lawro clearly doesn't realise that the linesman can't see through the player there.

They did to be fair.
One Alli pass?

I accept the contentious elements (the penalties) will be the main discussion points but I don't think enough was made of us turning round a dismal first half to boss a strong Liverpool side at home personally. We didn't skank a draw out of this at all.

Why is Lawro even on? Didn't he retire? Or was that just wishful thinking?

He’s not on as much as he used to be, thankfully. Judging by his get up tonight, it looks like he’s found a new career compering at Butlins.

I assume you mean the gesture? That on its own isn't racist, but it's the alleged comments that go with it that are.

But it is alleged though and he says he told Bong his breath smelt - so for all we know Bong could be lying.

Innocent until proven guilty and unless they can get lip reading experts to anaylise and see what was said or other players heard its Bongs word against Rodriguez.

Yes, the comments are alleged. He might be innocent, or he might be guiltily. The point was that its not a good idea to buy a player who could be facing a lengthy ban.

Two pundits...it was offside!
Presenter reads out the offside rule clearly establishing it was not offside
Not even a brief pause
Two pundits...it was offside....and er......VAR!

Last night was shocking, even by the low standards of tv punditry

This is why I stopped watching MOTD. A bunch of know it alls that actually know nothing. All this analysis and arrow drawing and grass highlighting - just show me the matches, with a touch of introduction before each one. End of!
