Very professional interview. Wish I could forget everything I disliked about him before 2 days ago. If that was the case and we weren't so sad after losing Poch we'd be pinching ourselves now.

I agree the Poch project was broken. He wanted to go imo. So It had to happen. So while I'm in mourning for losing that we do have to move on. We know it'll all end in disaster between Jose and Daniel 2 yrs from now so let's enjoy the ride until then. It'll sure be interesting and he's the best manager to get a quick reaction from the players and challenge the top 4 this season.

My one fear is watching Poch take over at Utd. Let's pray that doesn't happen.

Obviously, sad re. Poch. I wanted him to turn it around. And you're right, it sounds as though Poch wanted out. Which would explain the period just before the CL final til now. But lets be honest, Jose is probably the most successful/best manager in the history of the game. Yes Fergie won everything at United, but Jose has won what, 25 major trophies in multiple countrys across Europe. We should be excited. Jol took us to a different level, 'Arry continued the growth, Poch took us to dizzying heights. It feels like this is the next stage in our evolution. Jose has that winning mentality we have lacked, tactically, he's superior. He's arrogant etc. That may be just what we need. Guaranty, the players will have new levels of respect for what he's achieved and can bring to this club. COYS!

I think we have a lot to thank Daniel Levy for. Apologies but I am reposting the following which I have posted several times.

From the dark days of the 90s - where a fancy dribble or clever pass would be what we would consider highlights of a game in a dingy stadium that we, an ageing mismanaged team, more often than not lost - to these days. A world class training facility with a top youth team and a world class stadium all cleverly financed and integrated with local community development and initiatives. We are playing in the Champions League with regularity, giving teams in the premier league (which are basically owned by countries) a tough battle for top positions. The future looks very bright .

He has now appointed a proven winner and a world class manager - refreshed and raring to go, coming in pleased with the squad and not looking for expensive "fix-its". A ruthless but objective decision by Dan Levy that I believe will take us to the next level. The worlds best players will want to play for a world class manager and champions league finalists. I am very very grateful for the work Poch has done for us I think but Levy has taken this call not just based on recent results but keeping in mind our overall development strategy.

Mr. Levy, a salute of gratitude and respect from a fan who has seen the dark days. A top astute business leader in a very volatile industry. Always has us punching well above our weight and has now taken us to the next level.

I won’t consider us to be on the next level until we manage to compete on wages. Then we should be able so sign the best players. I naively thought that playing in the Champions League would achieve this, but building the new stadium certainly hasn’t helped, as brilliant as it is. Hopefully if we manage to retain our top four spot and get stadium sponsorship, we will finally make it.

I'm more worried that Poch might go to Arsenal.

Wont repeat mistakes?
Ha ha ha, ha ha ha ha, haaa. Oh dear thats funny.
We'll see.
Its one thing to look humble and a changed man in front of a press conference before a ball has been kicked. When the games on and things arent going right its quite another.
A leopard doesn't change its spots as they say.
May not be a bad thing though.
Nearly all our previous managers have been far too quiet publicly when we're getting shafted.
For example, imagine Maureen in charge of us, we're in a title race with 7 or 8 games to go.... we get 3 Monday night fixtures on the bounce and play catch up to the leaders for about 6 games on the bounce (cant remember exactly how many if was, before some cretin goes and checks).
He'd have screamed the fkin roof down.
That simply would never have happened to Man U, Liverpool or any of the other top 6.
Theres a massive difference going into a game knowing you're 7pts clear to knowing its down to 4 if you dont win today. And then if we'd played first again and won, 1 pt.
This is why imo the last 5 games should ko at same time for top 2 teams.

No I wont let it fkin go lol.

Nah, theres no way. He's already said he could never do that. Just like he could never manage Barca. He understands principles of football and sees them differently to Jose. That's his identity and he's no-one if he breaks that rule.

Kane is on 200k, several players are on 100+k. Would you consider us competing when everyone is on 300k per week?

Press conference was great but was intrinically the same message as when he joined Man Utd (only delivered with a smile, not a scowl). Proof of the Pudding and all that - will just have to wait and see. I'll be a whole lot happier if Luis Campos comes aboard though.

Looks to me like a question of when not if, fingers crossed

I pray Mourinho does great for our club and since all of a sudden in the world of Tottenham trophies are the currency for your club to look seem successful well we surly have a serial winner

But this is Jose Mourinho let's not be fooled here he ain't gonna change 3-6 month he'll be snarling alienating causing all sorts good and bad...we all know the end game.

However I promised myself to wait and see.
