I'm really glad he brought this up yesterday.

I've always been stunned at how blatant the imbalance is on the media.

Listening to likes of Mick Quinn(not ex-player but blatantly biased fan) & Phil Thompson talk about us they are always super critical as they obviously believe they should be above us.

Here's a breakdown...

The worst is our list contains a number of ex players who wouldn't consider us their "main" team.

Also it forgets people like Gerrard who seem to be getting increasingly involved.

I can't stand most commentary teams nowadays. Martin Tyler and Neville are ok. Ian Darke is great. The rest are useless.

The worst offenders are people like Clark Carlisle or for those who stream Don Goodman. Really painful to listen to.

Not sure Walsh or Cundy are on our side though despite being our ex-players. Everytime I hear them speak their glad when we do badly. Souness would also be technically on our list but again isn't a pundit in our favour.

You can add Jan Molby to the Liverpool list, and also gives Swansea at least one ex-player.

Yeah a fair few of those supposedly linked to Spurs aren't exactly supportive: Redknapp, Murphy and Cundy spring to mind. Crooks does us no favours either, but mainly because he's mental

Stan collymore is really starting to get on my tits with his poor attempts at trying to appear educated. He kept referring to stopages as 'punctuations' yesterday.

I remember reading a few years ago that there's someone who holds a huge amount of influence who makes sure a lot of the pundits are Liverpool. Not sure if it's true but sounded plausible at the time.

I really wish we had a choice in this country. I'd rather pay £10 a month for a sports channel in Greek that shows the football than £22 a month for Sky Sports and all their horrendous punditry.

Murphy and depending on the time of the month, Redknapp also never have a decent thing to say bout us unless of course a close friend or family member is there!

I guess we can put Jamie back in the "pro-Spurs" column now then...

Must admit I used to watch all the pre-game talk, half-time talk and post-game talk, but now I can't stand it, even if Tottenham are not involved.

Take the pre-game talk for us vs Liverpool, Carragher, Gerrard and Souness. How one favoured is that. The whole half an hour was about Gerrard, Liverpool or their title challenge.

Jamie Redknapp has friends? I thought he just had associates that want to have a go on his wife

That's what done it for me, couldn't believe that lineup in their studio.

Having said that I do like watching MNF with Neville and Carragher but besides that can't stand most of the pundits Mourinho has a point about the bias.

I think it was better when it was just gary Neville though? Carragher just gets in his way. I didn't think he would be but Neville is very very good & unbiased. Always worth listening too.
Redknapp could be ok but lets his bitterness get in the way. As tim's his mate this might now change a little. Or maybe not.

I couldn't give a fuck who the pundits played for I'm neither insecure or precious enough to care what they say or deluded enough to believe there's some kind of conspiracy against spurs

For me it's not about being precious. I don't get offended or pissed off when a pundit says something anti-Spurs.

But if we are going to have shows analysing matches then I want them to be fair and balanced.

MOTD does talk about Liverpool way too much. Even when they were mid-table they were having their CL aspirations analysed while other clubs barely get a mention.

There's great stories to be told in the Prem.

Hull surprising everyone and doing well. Cardiff having a whack job chairman and sacking a popular manager. Everton playing very good football. Palace getting out of the relegation zone. West Ham and Fulham beign right down there with Sunderland.

But instead there's constant talk about Liverpool. It's boring and unbalanced. If the reason for this is they have too many pundits from that club then people are going to discuss it.

Your interpretation that this is being insecure or precious is spectacularly off the point.
