Mauricio Pochettino is now a better manager, less egocentric, more attuned to the times and more willing to actually coach his players, to improve them.

You should have gone to SpecSavers.

No wait, that’s prescription.

United really should have gone all out for Poch but maybe it’s not just Real he turned down. Berry happy he’s doing his thing with us right now and hopefully for a long time to come.

Mourinho is becoming a bit of a parody of himself now. He's not the self proclaimed 'Special One' any more and the press don't blow smoke up his arse to the same degree now that they have Klopp. Hopefully he'll continue to slide since I can't stand the arrogant prick. His MO is to start blaming players and coaching staff when he's not getting it all his own way which is the pre cursor to a dressing room revolt. When that happens, I hope Poch resists the temptation and carries on building with us to a point where we are a genuine top table club.

Utd is ran like a circus, Poch is looking a team needing stability and time with a fan base who demand instant success , no way he'd want to leave Spurs at this very moment and go to Utd, it wouldn't make any sense.

Stranger things have happened. We really need a bit of silverware to keep things sweet - it's the next hurdle in a long line of things we have overcome.

Ironically if he wins silverware he's more likely to be in demand.

'Willing to actually coach his players?'
Novel idea for a coach.
This is my biggest gripe with Maureen.
Imo, and I'll probably get a lot disagree with me here, he's a charlatan. A con man.
He did extremly well at Porto and should be recognised for it. To win CL with that club is an amazing achievement.
However since then he has been playing FIFA. Spend spend spend.
Doesn't improve players.
Tactics are dont lose first. Negative despite the finance at his disposal.
Buys big lumps and out muscle opposition, not out play.
Takes top draw ball players and makes them look piss poor. Mata (twice), Sanchez, Rashford, Martial, Pogba, etc, etc.
His man management is shockingly bad and getting worse.
And all these clubs since Porto have faired just fine since his departure. They still win trophies because they're big rich clubs, whoever is in charge.
He's a Charlatan living on past glories imo who cant win unless he's outspending all those around him and the silly bastard even said as much himself.
I hope he stays I really do.

If he goes United should have two names on their list; Pochettino and Simeone. Two managers who've turned around sleeping giants and genuinely built something and could create a dynasty at United over a decade or more. I don't know why Simeone is priced at 33/1 - maybe he can't be persuaded away from AM. They'll probably go for Zidane though because the management there have no idea what they're doing and what the club is about. Or used to be about. So I'm happy with that.

Simeone is not considered an attacking coach, that's probably why.

That could be it. Even so, if we ever lose Pochettino I'd be happy to see him come to us.

Looks like the press are going after him after his most recent interview.

He has always created a siege mentality, which has occasionally worked, but this one seems about him and I think he will be on his own to fight it.

The quicker Maureen goes the better
Pochettino isn't going to move this season-and probably not the next either
