If was the summer I’d probably say yes but not this month. It’s a position that is weak atm

If the offer was a good one, I'd take it. I love Mousa and think he'll be back to his best but we'd cope without him. Whether it is Barklay or another pegged to replace him, you can plan a succession but you can't plan for the right demand from the market. If someone wants him, fora good price, then maybe the timing, whilst not ideal, is none-the-less, right.

Not now, but soon. It's a shame but he seems to be in decline, if it's more than just a phase then Spurs need to think about replacing him.

Don't see Barkley as a CM without a load of coaching and building some sort of defensive ability. Only supposedly available player I'd want if we lost Dembele is Kovacic who could compete with Eriksen as well.

EDIT Or Modric as per Hercules ITK. :)

Yes. It is odd that Poch seems to prioritise physically superior players in cm rather than passers of the ball. Winks is the exception to that but he has the tenacity and intelligence to compensate. Maybe kovacic, like Onomah, doesn't so isn't being considered.
Poch improves players who commit. Sissoko is a revelation (if still not the player we need). If barkley can be coached, he can be anything we need. He has the skill and physicality to begin with.

Because most of them are not genuine. And more over they dont have the money that English clubs demand for their star players.
As much I like him I wouldn’t consider him a star player tbh. Much like Son he seems to fly under the radar. Pretty sure Milan can afford him if they want!

I am sure, Levy will sell him if he could...but dont think that will happen till we have a replacement in squad & performing.
He has contract till June 2019. Best case scenario is we find a replacement in Jan (Barkley ?) and hope the player settle in. If so, then sell Dembele next season.
I would be gutted to see him go when we move to NWHL. I would rather extend his contract by a year & keep him in squad.

When fit he's one of our most important players. Unfortunately it seems like his injuries have caught up with him though and he's in almost a Ledley-type situation now i.e. even when he is fit can't play all the time. He came out over summer IIRC saying that he'd accepted he would never be fully fit again and just had to play through it. For that reason, in the summer I'd reluctantly be looking to cash in on him if a big offer came in to be honest but not mid-season. Obviously all depends on who we'd be able to replace him with though. We could really do with a player like him but there aren't that many out there. I don't think Barkley is the answer due to his woeful defensive contribution. He'll be a liability at CM

No way I would sell, still an important player for us. Even if he comes to a stage of his career where he is no longer first choice.

Regarding the AC Milan rumour re Dembele...Marcotti was on the radio last week saying they are in financial difficulty and if they do not re finance some loans they are in danger of being taken over by a hedge fund who funded the purchase by some Chinese. The hedge fund would then put the club up for sale again. They have spent a lot of money recently so cannot see them coming up with a suitable offer. No one seems to know who the Chinese owners are. Journalists have traced their head office which is some empty offices somewhere in China. I doubt Daniel will be dealing with them

Selling Dembele would be idiotic, especially with Onomah out on loan. We do not have enough central midfield options and he offers something completely different. We're not going to get a big fee for him at his age, so we might as well keep hold. He's been a bit off form this season, but he's a fucking good player.
