Can imagine juventus, being the typical devious Italians that they are, using supposed interest in Sissoko to tie up our ability to sell him right up to the transfer window as a device t prevent us following through with bidding on Balde-Keita. More likely scenario than the champions league finalists actually wanting the player imo

I think Sissoko would be decent in Serie A. He would be the mirror of Asamoah (spelling) that plays on the left or in midfield for them now. Very similar attributes.

Though if by some miracle they actually want Sissoko I hope we have the foresight to carve out a discounted sale price for the contracted guaranteed penalty payment to us should they register Balde Keith in the next 18 months thereby making their claimed 'withdrawal from bidding a reliable thing as we weigh whether to wait on Keira Balde to sign as the deadline approaches

Tie up our ability to sell him. We'd bite anyone's arm off for a decent offer and not wait for juventus..im sure of it. If there was a long queue waiting to hand us cash, he'd be gone by now.

But seriously if Juve bat their eye lids at you, you wait for them over all other offers like Keira Balde is doing - meaning all other offers we would want to take - even the loan from Turkey, get stalled in this theoretical powerplay

Now I'm not so sure. Saw earlier they're after Strootman for a reported £40m, maybe this link is to just lower prices elsewhere

But juve don't need to play games to get their man. He's literally turned every offer down for juve so they have zero reasons to be concerned. Therefore I can't see there being any games with sissoko..either it's bullshit or they actually want him, which is bemusing.

I don't know much about Juves squad, but I presumed they just needed cover.

I wonder if we have offered him to Barca? He would be a perfect partner for ex spur Paulinho!

Balde is more likely going to Juv.

Personally I'd much rather we see N'Koudou I believe he could emulate Son and have a better second season.

It's hard to believe but easier to believe that Barca wanting Paulinho...sooooooo
Well, that is a good point. That transfer was definitely left-of-centre and perhaps Sissoko would find the Italian league more suitable for his style of play.
