After making just eight Premier League starts last season, Sissoko has decided he does not want to waste any more time at Tottenham.

His £30 million switch from Newcastle United in 2016 will go down as one of the worst deals in recent memory—and Spurs want to reclaim the cash.

Their options are limited because of his lack of game time, which is the reason the prospect of a move to China is opening up.

Interest from Chinese Super League clubs is to be taken seriously, as Tottenham realise it is the most likely opportunity they will have to get back the majority of their outlay on the player.

Talks with interested parties are beginning, and Sissoko is open to the situation.

We would be making a HUGE mistake if we sell Sissoko. Not only is he by FAR our best and most important player much as he is for France but he is our leader on and off the field.

Shit! sorry I put this in the wrong forum, i'll cut and paste it back into the Barcelona team forum.

Bleacher Report is a bunch of nonsense. Literally, I could create an account there and just make up bollocks and have the same platform as this guy.

Marseille monitoring Tottenham midfielder Moussa Sissoko

SIMON JONES:
Marseille are continuing to monitor developments with Tottenham midfielder Moussa Sissoko.

The ambitious French side have yet to bid for the 27-year-old but know he wants to quit Tottenham. Sissoko is eager to stay in England and is hopeful Premier league sides will show interest but Marseille are waiting in the wings.

Pretty sure NUFC called "no backsies" on the deal and can't think of anyone else who is in desperate need for someone to hold up a corner flag.....

I really believe that if he were to go to a club like Marseille he'd look like a really good player in that league. Despite what happened last season for us, he's a better player now than what he was at Toulouse. It wouldn't surprise me if he goes to Marseille, looks great, and gets linked to bigger clubs the subsequent season.

Someone get me in the room with the people who make the decisions at Marseille. I'll even make a PowerPoint presentation.

Sissoko goal was played through by Lemar. Great through ball. No clue who the middle man was like. Sissoko is a different player for France and the French fans appear to love him...

Sissoko plays right thru the middle, but Poch plays him on the right. So maybe change him to a central role might see big improvements. Esp if we sign Lemar.... and we can forget about Barkley.
