Don't want to ruin anyone's day but I think a key factor in Serge coming to us was Sissoko. They are good mates so Poch won't want to disrupt the squad. I just hope in the summer MP sees him as surplus.

Most of us have seen Sissoko have a great game be it for France or Newcastle but those games stick in the memory because its not what we expected of him. He just doesn't fit into our system. It makes him look worse than he is and no matter how hard he tries that isn't going to change. Time for him and us to admit we made a mistake and move on.

Yeah, I would be stunned if Sissoko leaves this window.

I think the reason we hate Sissoko is that we were desperately crying out for some more flair and footballing intelligence but we ended up with a clumsy gimp.

Him on the pitch makes us so awful going forward. 0 goal threat and about as creative as a flannel

Wishful thinking?

Probably, but I just don't see the point. Dembele had a shocker yesterday, but I'd say the place to debate it is in the player thread, not by bumping his transfer thread.

Unfortunately we had zero creative threat from midfield yesterday, whether that was with starting midfield and then afterwards with Lamela and Wanyama

2-0 up tonight and he comes on with 15 minutes to go. Runs the ball down into the corners and does a hard working job and I’ll be just fine with that.
