But why? What's with this myth that Soldado produces more than Adebayor?

Surely you agree that Soldado's link-up play, work-rate and effort is far superior to Ade's?

Scoring a few tap-ins after going MIA throughout the game doesn't do it for me.

It's pretty simple; an off-form Soldado is more useful than an off-form Adebayor.

Trouble is, Soldado has been off-form for 15 months.

I can see why he would want these two - Young to dive & win the penalty's & Bobby to slot from the spot.

I'd also rather keep Soldado than Ade, but if he has to go then at least Moyes has history of paying silly money for a player (I'm looking at you Fellaini)

Do you truly, deep down, know what Soldado was brought into the club to do?

I can absolutely, one hundred percent inform you once and for all and unequivocally, and without a shadow of any doubt inform you that that it was not to fucking become King of the link up play, or sweat more than the other ten players.

Honest.

Sadly it is very difficult to defend Soldado any more. A very tidy footballer for sure, but for what ever reason its not working out...

Can't see him having more than 20p to spend for them. Hardly a financial powerhouse of a club. It would be more likely Paulinho getting loaned out than Soldado in my opinion if he goes it would have to be for cash and most of what we paid for him.

In fairness they could both go, and we wouldn't be any worse off. Shocking stats whichever way anyone wants to dress them up. Just terrible considering the money spent (that will never be recouped) and the wages they earn.

Yeah yeah with the stats again, but sorry, looking better going forward, more fluid in attack and linking play up is something that cant be summed up with fucking stats.

And yes, I hate football stats that much...

Neither can play in the 4-2-3-1.

Be in denial all you want but it's clear by now by all who follow this team and know football. Keeping either player is fools gold.

Do u truly deep down feel that under avb our team was set up to play to soldados strengths?
Andros on de right, cuttin in every chance he gets and hitting row z! What we needed at de time was lennon on right, townsend on left and them being told to do their job and get de ball into de box.
We all know soldado is a poacher, most of his goals are scored in de pen box.
Avb's never set de team up to play to his strengths which makes one wonder why he was ever signed.
Tim never gave him a chance, poch de same so far.
Imo he is de best
option if we play with eriksen, lamela and chadli - all technical players who look to be on de same wavelength.
If we start lennon and townsend, then its ade up front for me

I totally agree with what you are saying, that's why Soldado and Ade should be sold to a team that would benefit from their strengths. AVB and Poch just do not set up the team for that.
