Something that seems to have been missed regarding Pochs mood and the struggles we've had against lesser teams is the injuries we've had so far this season. Take 4 of the starting 11 out of ANY fkin team anywhere and they won't look as good. Not even Man City, Chelsea etc.
Add to that the fact we didnt bring in anyone so when he looks at the bench its weak, well you qould be pissed off wouldn't you?
Plus the stadium.
It'll come good next year.
I hope.

Pochettino is one of the most diplomatic managers I've seen. He plays it straight down the middle when it comes to interviews. Every pre-match conference refers to the opposition as a "really tough challenge" whether we are going to play Man City or Macclesfield but after 5 years of over-performing and out-performing our rivals, everything seemed to be coming together for this season - a new stage, a new step up.

The reality has been so far from the truth and the disappointment of the stadium, continuing to play home games basically 'away' and bad luck in the Champions' League and undoubtedly frustration in the transfer market seems to have pushed him over the edge.

The fact that he's saying anything at all, I think is a real worry. I'd suggest that losing Pochettino would be a bigger loss than losing any single player - as so many of our players are tied to him.

I think he takes the long view of things, which is to our benefit. But he's right to indicate that it can't always only be the long view. It was unfortunate for us that we had to leave White Hart Lane just as we became invincible there and were a few points here or there from being champions. My hope is that he's going to stay steadily focused on achieving things with us, including this season. But we are also on notice that he won't put up with a multi-year model that keeps pointing to stadium costs as a crimp on our ambition.

But that's a debate for another thread.....

Just thought that maybe he feels he can admit to frustration after the detailed update from the club on Friday. Levy pretty much said it was a difficult time for everyone at the club with a feeling of disappointment. So maybe Poch has some freedom to share his feelings and gain some empathy with fans without upsetting the boss
Fair point - I'm sure that Poch is afforded that freedom. I'm pleased that he feels able to speak out. I really hope that the stadium delay is what is really causing most of the current negative feeling.

Course he's pissed off
He's the best manager in premiership but has to find a way with never ending drawbacks.
Constant interference from internationals, no home- injuries - low budget dwarfed by the amounts that rivals throw out-and then bad luck in champions league meaning he has to scrape a way forward against the odds -no wonder he feels low

This is really worrying. I felt there was a good chance he'll go next summer but now I'm not so sure he'll even last until then. Real Madrid are struggling and we know he's been linked there. You've also got Man U. I think he's hinting that he's taken Spurs as far as he can, and giving a hint that he's now open to moving.

The caveat to 'our best PL start' is that we've had a load of easy games
We're only 10 matches into the season but have already played all 3 of the teams that finished in the top 4 with us last season. (The 2 we had played before tonight was still proportionately more than we should have played 9 matches into the season, had the fixtures been spread evenly).
The only other team we've dropped points against is Watford, who are 7th and only 2 points behind us (despite us being on 21 points from 10 games, which is our second best start to a Premier League season!)...was that an easy game?
Are you aware that only a small fraction of any team's matches are played against the top few teams in the league?

Anybody half decent has given us problems.
You mean like when we beat Man Utd 3-0?

I'm not denying that some of our performances have been disappointing, but your comments are no more factual than Trump's "alternative facts".
