Well done Bentaleb and thumbs up to Sherwood for having the guts to put Bentaleb in.

One of the things Tim done right, this lad has a big future IMO.

Having him in the first team squad was one of his only positives. His handling of him though, and choices Tim made in regards to Bentaleb from that point forward were bewildering...

With the emergence of Bentlab one or two of Sandro, Capoue, Dembele, Paulinho, Holtby and Sigurdsson must be sold over the summer.

Plus giving Kane a chance and being rewarded with 3 goals in 3 games. Sherwood didn't have the tactical skill to manage at the top level (yet) but noone could deny that he did pretty well (certainly better than I expected) in his short term and at least he had the courage to give some players a chance and I bet for that some of them will be eternally grateful.

Yes, agree. Also Tim seemed to improvise as he went along and looked somewhat out of control, with his barbs and rants, but I can understand and accept that he was a success in previous role when he dealt with younger, less adult players and didn't have to deal with the media nearly as much.
