Sounds like he scored a cracker against Carlisle (and that he took some inspiration from Andros' goal against them):

"...just after the hour mark, the game's first moment of real quality brought about the first goal.
And it went the way of Reds, with Nathan Byrne bagging a goal on his league debut.
The youngster, on loan from Tottenham Hotspur, picked up the ball at the midway point of the Carlisle half and cut inside into space before curling the ball with the outside of his foot round Gillespie and into the bottom corner.

It was a brilliant strike and one which lit up a game that up until that point had been largely bereft of real attacking quality."

Great news - and spooky in having missed out on playing against Carlisle for Spurs, his first game for Crawley is against Carlisle. Glad he's got off to a good start to his Crawley loan

Scored a cracker in his last Spurs u 21 game too.

Can't find a good Crawley forum, but Windy's summary sounds encouraging

Nathan Byrne has been in sparkling form for Crawley Town, starting ten games in all competitions at right back. He went off injured in their win against the Met Police this weekend, leading to one Crawley fan commenting: "Nathan Byrne's injury unsettled us - he is streets ahead of any other right back we have."

Are we now reaping the rewards of Harry's obsession with Rb's, as I can see him saying to the staff we clearly havent got enough RB's in our team

You can't have enough right backs - I recall HR saying we had no fit right backs, seemingly forgetting the fact that Smith had just returned from loan and had been on the bench just before HR's quote !

Back on topic, Byrne seems to have been labelled as a utility defence/midfield player - although imo he's not tall enough to be a CB, is a mediocre central midfield player and is best as a fullback (both right and left). Useful squad player but not sure he is good enough to get past the Walker/Naughton/Smith blockade in front of him, but at 20 he can afford to stay at Spurs, progress whilst on loan (maybe at Championship club next year) and see how the land lies in a year's time.

Has now made 14 starts for Crawley and appears to be starting all matches, so appears to have settled in there. 2 yellow cardfs and one goal so far

Picked up an injury and missed a lot of games but made his way back onto the bench for the last couple of games. However, he has just tweeted that he is returning to Spurs on Monday.

Maybe we will loan him to a higher team and see how he does there
