He's 19. He's nowhere near the finished article yet. Utd fans were saying the same about ronaldo at the same age.
His development is more like a young 18 year old, shit he is younger in his development than Onomah imo

Worthing noting he missed over a year and a half of footy due to injury and his transfer and loan move

Would be great for Oduwa if we could give him some regular English Championship football next season.

He's progressing well, and plenty of time for development yet.
He's ready for it now imo

I have seen he has been getting very frustrated, and its little wonder in less than 3 games players are clearly targeting him and trying to take him out and I have seen him walk through a whole defence with so much ease too often already imo

I would recall him January

I'm in Scotland and watch the Gers as and when. They love him, want to buy him ALREADY. It's a hard league physically, if he can do it here, it's good schooling. Warburton knows a good'un. :)

They're targeting him because he's shown a propensity to showboat. While we all get a laugh out of it, opponents get pissed off over it. It's his own fault, to be honest. I'd recall him only if the targeting doesnt stop.

that's a horrible stance it's like blaming the girl for dressing provocatively, i love his confidence and the sense of freedom he feels to be able to try his tricks. now doing it in a blowout i dont agree as it's not sporting. but i hope he feels confident enough try this stuff for spurs

Is it correct that Oduwa is in the last year of his contract?

Very unlikely.

Spurs usually insist that players sign a new contract before going out on loan if the player is viewed as a decent prospect that the club wants to keep.

Edit - The Retained list at 30 June 2014 (ie a year old) say he had extended his contract - quite likely a 3 years extension given that he had been on his first pro contract before then. http://www.premierleague.com/conten...ague-professional-retained-list-2013-2014.pdf

Only thing I can see is on Transfermarkt which says 2016.Reports from around the time of the loan mention contract talks, but no signed contract.

He played a few of the preseason games, doubt there would be much chance of him leaving.

The transfermarkt date is quite likely his first contract.

The club seems to have gone away from publicising all contract extensions, so as you say there are reports of contract extension talks but nothing made public, so all I can say is what the Club's practice seems to be - and its totally logical, why would we send a player out on a year loan if his contract ended at the end (provided we wanted to keep him, or even if we thought he was valuable but we didn't want him).

So it's Messi fault's that he gets kicked because he is too good for the defenders to stop?

I agree with what you're saying, but the club announced quite a few contracts over the summer so why not his. I suppose we will have ourselves covered but just wondered if anyone knew for definite.

Cebellos wasn't allowed to go on loan. He was left to rot.

Think that the only contract extensions announced this summer were of first team players, including hose who had played for the first team (eg Wins, Oomah) or announced to be playing (eg Pritchard), not players who were more 'junior'.
