Aye. Just my luck to have plumped for a EC team to root for in the Raptors a few weeks back. I didn't know! I. Didn't. Knoooooow!

The Raptors have a couple of good young guards though and they had a play to eliminate the Nets, just couldn`t execute, again they are a team that can rack up some big points on their day and they`ve bombed OKC a few times.

Ach. All good fun right now. Enjoying learning and being confused in equal measure by it all. My septic friend who is BBall nuts is even more into the college game. He's probably rubbing one out to the combine as we speak.

I love watching the Spurs play. The only actual team left in the playoffs. Miami have a great chance of course with their individuals and ability to turn it on defensively when they have to. Not seeing the Thunder turn this around.

Amazing the difference Ibaka made. Especially at the offensive end. Even it was just a dozen pts or so Westbrook and Durant needed some help desperately. Some life breathed into the series at least. If the Thunder can win the next one it gets very interesting suddenly.

How've you been coping with the late night games @Misfit? I'm finding seeing them through increasingly hard on work nights..

Yes me too. I watched the last two on replay. Not so bad when the game is on at 10:30 or even 12:30 our time but those usually come on the weekends. The 1:30 games on weekdays are killers though. I simply can't do it and remain useful at work otherwise. Got the first half in but invariably nod off during the HT show.

Serge played very, very well, but then he just did what he always does, the other factor was Brooks starting with Reggie Jackson, him and Ibaka spaced the floor much better for OKC and its no coincidence that Westbrook & Durant were able to attack the paint and pick up free throws, its worth bearing in mind KD had a total of zero points in the paint in the first two games.

Poppovich threw in the towel with 20 minutes left. I guess it's shit or bust for the Spurs in game 5.

Sorry about your Thunder exit @Supersi32 You think Brookes survives another off-season. Durant backed him at least. Something needs to change though. The bench included.

My first NBA Finals coming up. Hella excited.

The best team won no doubt about it, OKC couldn`t get near the Spurs in San Antonio. I`m not sure on Brooks to be honest but I think its obvious that you can`t win a championship without a good half court offense. I think Jackson, Lamb and Adams will be huge players in OKC future and I think there is a championship in this team but not sure if Brooks has it in him to make the necesary change in style. I`ll be rooting for San Antonio in the finals, which should be an absolute classic.

Why does lamb never get any decent minutes?! The closest to a harden replacement OKC have. Sef is probably one of the worst offensive SG in the NBA and so damn boring to watch.

Thats a really good question about Lamb to be honest and one that many OKC fans ask regularly, only Scott Brooks can really answer, I don`t think Sef will be in OKC next season. OKC rely heavily on defense to get fast break opportunities and with the two superstars in KD & Russ they don`t run a lot of offense through anyone else. I like Lamb a lot and think he`s going to be huge for OKC going forward. Its interesting that Sef`s minutes were severly reduced in the SAS series and maybe an indication that Brooks is going to play more of a `team` game in OKC moving forward, I for one certainly hope so. Just to even up the argument though, Sef is a great defender and shot the ball really well in 12-13, particularly from 3 point range.

Definitely the two best teams. And I think the Spurs will get their revenge this time, the way they lost last year must've been absolutely sickening for them, especially for Duncan (who is ageless), and will be determined to put things right.

For Miami, they don't look as good defensively as last year, but atleast Wade is healthier this time, and that could be a tipping point for them

Everyone going on about the AC problems. Lebron was the only player who had real issues with it. Not ideal but meh. I likes SA's chances beforehand and they just keep doing what do. Good, fundamental basketball, even if one or two players are having off nights, will keep the score ticking over.
