I'm finding it hard to stay motivated as one by one the accounts are being gubbed and restricted, it's at a point now where I'm almost afraid to do any of the horse racing refund offers or even start dutching in case any more go.

Shame because for someone who is quite risk averse, this is a good way of making some extra cash.

So i've just gotten back into this, did the sign up offer on Stan James for £10 at 4.5 on a horse, laid the bet on betfair at 4.4, checked this all several times to make sure the maths was right. It was. Checked it a couple hours later again and it was all still fine.

Now i've checked it and the odds on my lay bet have dropped down to 4.05, meaning my liability has changed from £35.17 to £31.54. So instead of only losing 17p on this bet I might now lose over £3.

Can anyone explain what's happened here?

What's happened is a horse must have pulled out of the race, causing a Rule 4 Deduction. This means your odds will have a percentage removed. You can find a bit more info here: https://support.skybet.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/13/~/horse-racing---rule-4-rules so the amount your odds are reduced depends on the odds of the non-runner, at the time it was declared a NR.

Betfair also reduce the odds, hence your liability has gone down.

When this happens, it's usually in your favour. Let us know how it turns out, but I would expect any change from the original matched bet will be negligible or result in a bit of extra profit for you.

Have you checked out Accas & ACOs yet? Obviously not the best time of year for accas now the footy season is over, but you can still do a few - so if you haven't already got into these, check out the multiple ways of making these highly profitable. Got some big profits reported for these strategies!

We made some big changes to the site layout a few weeks back, in case you/others weren't aware. We're still in the process of adding more features and strategies over the next couple of weeks too - the biggest update since the service launched actually!

Yes I've been doing accas, in fact so many with WH that they've started referring my bets to the trader now, whatever that means. I'm going to be easing off everything during the summer to preserve the accounts for when the football season starts again.

Slots? Had one big win but still not entirely comfortable with the higher risk method yet. Lost Sky casino pretty quickly after as well.

I was watching Epsom this afternoon and one of the horses was pulled out at the last minute. I wonder if this was the race you were on.

Ah, thank you. I've just wrapped my head around it. I was stupidly thinking it was going to cost me money but you're of course right that it will give me more money. Odds have gone down even further now to make my liability 27.30 so I should bank £7.70 if the horse wins the race now instead of losing 17p either way. Happy days.

I've been fully intending to get back into this, but I'm swamped at work.

Tell you what @Profit Squad , being able to pause a membership would be a really good feature!

I agree! Unfortunately as all our memberships and payments are handled through PayPal, they do not allow the ability to pause subscription payments.

You can of course cancel your membership and then renew at a later date - we keep your accounts intact for exactly this reason, so all your saved data will still be there waiting for you.

I do think the best plan though is to move on to Annual membership and remove the stress of rebills and having to justify the value each month, when you can obviously out-earn the Annual fees in your first couple of weeks usually (if not days!)

Yeah I recently cancelled my membership as taking a break. Done all the sign up offers and need to sit down and get my head round the extra place offers and dutching but don't have the time at the moment. Will sign up again in a few months I think.

I'm still doing it, but not on a daily basis anymore, especially as the footy has finished, Accas are my bread and butter and prem footy is the most muggy so most of my accounts seem to be fine. I've done a couple of the ACOs with no luck so far, I'll get back into them at some point.
I also struggle to do anything during the day now so Dutching has been off the table recently.

Total profit is over £4k since October, and even with the downturn in usage I'm still making £50ish a week for a couple of hours work max.

@Profit Squad got back into it today. Did the Stan James NCO and lost on SJ so obvs won on Betfair, that's fine. No free £20 bet though? Does it take a while to come in?

I've made over a grand profit since my last post, Ascot was quite good to me plus a good sized slot win. I'll scale back for a while and do other things, ACOs and Bingo most likely.

I'm grinding through them now and making steady profit. Seems @Profit Squad have gone quiet on here though?

Wooderz, they have their own forum which is why they are quieter on here.

Is there still an offer to join looking at starting next week, love the feedback I have read, unfortunately I have historically been a poor gambler, which isn't going down well with the family, read independent reviews and this seems the best one by far

The key to this is that it isn't gambling, although the temptation is there which can effect your profits. The deal is over but they may do something if you message @Profit Squad ...?
