I get the impression that if you want to run through the sign ups quickly then it's better to bet on things that happen more frequently than football for example the horses??? Sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong.

You can do yes, though in the interest of prolonging your accounts we think it's safer to bet on football. People who bet on the footy are more likely to be a "mug punter" than someone who bets on the horses (especially if you're taking close matches) the main delay is having to wait on withdrawing money, if you're on a small bank. Again this is only a temporary problem though. Once you finish the NCOs you can switch to Skrill and move it around in a few hours instead of days ;)

Just an update, I did a few bets last weekend, I was abroad with work all week so reluctant to login to the accounts in case it caused an issue. Carried on this weekend and I'm currently at:

So far, you have earned over £679.48!
Permanent offers: £528.76
Calendar offers: £150.72

I have another ~£50 profit locked in, just waiting for it to pay up. I'd say £500 of the above was luck from the casino offers but even without that it's over £200 from 2 weekends.

I really need to go through the video tutorials on the site and work out how to get started.

I have online accounts already with Coral, Betfair and Paddy Power. What others do I need and which best to go for?

Thinking Stan James, Bet Victor, Boyle Sports, Will Hill and Ladbrokes

Amazed you don't have a bet365 account. Worth having for their in play special alone.

Does the software work on a chromebook, or do I need a PC/laptop?

You can use it on any device, even a mobile. Though the mobile version isn't quite as easy & quick to use versus a desktop/chromebook

Interesting, is this from the facebook invite? (You filled out the form, and got sent an invite?)

From all the invites we've ever sent out, heard this from 5-6 people and never really figured out why - other than to know it is something wrong on Facebook's side of things. You can get added to the forum an alternative way, please email [email protected] and we'll sort you out.

After much discussion, the staff here are all convinced a dedicated forum is the way to go, though we'll be putting it to a poll on the facebook group next week to allow our members to decide. I'm expecting most will agree.

Strange now Coral want me to verify who I am and my account is temporarily suspended, they want me to scan either my passport or driver's license and send it to them.

So my first attempt at this was to get the €25 free bet on William Hill as I already had a Coral account. I've never laid a bet before and it looks like Perugia will win at 2-0 up so how much will I lose from my betfair account? Will it be just the liability or the backer's stake as well? Cheers.

Edit : Never mind, figured it out. Seems like there's going to be a fair bit of transferring money between betting accounts until the balance goes up a bit.

Liability includes the stake, it's the total you'll be liable for.

From your experience so far @Rob would you say the casino bets are more profitable than the sports ones in relation to time put in? I've never done any bets in an online casino, and a lot of it confuses the fudge out of me but I'm considering dabbling.

Personal opinion is that the sports bets are a steady stream of small guaranteed profits for a few minutes work.

The casino ones take a long time (due to the wagering requirements) and most likely you'll win nothing but there's the chance of a big win. Also a lot of the details on the casino signup offers on the profit squad website are out of date (as the offers change all the time). Some that look like good offers can be a lot worse as the wagering requirement is much more than it says.

It's a legal requirement that bookies have to ID check every customer, to crack down on fraud. So don't worry, this is standard procedure! 90% of the time a bookie will do this automatically without you even knowing, but sometimes you will have to send ID if they can't do this. Just make sure if you ever get asked to send pictures of the card you deposited from or any other sensitive info, you cover the sensitive part (middle 8 numbers on a debit/credit card, and the 3 security on the back)

how much will I lose from my betfair account? Will it be just the liability or the backer's stake as well? Cheers.

Don't forget that on the exchange you are literally exchanging bets with other people.. so the 'stake' is the other guy/the backer's stake you will win, and the 'liability' is what you pay out (if you lose at the exchange)

The best way to think about how these Lay bets work is - you are the bookmaker - you are literally taking someone elses bet at these odds, so if you Lay Perugia and Perugia win, you have to pay them their winnings (your liability). If Perugia do not win, then that person lost their bet and you 'the bookie' win their stake.
And in this case, we're actually being both sides of the coin, backing it to win at another bookmaker, and then BEING the bookmaker to someone else, passing the risk on. :) hope that makes sense?
