If he can be as good as Bale, I have no problem with him using us as a stepping stone. But hopefully we can improve enough for him to want to stay. Still a little premature for that kinda talk.

I guess he was only answering the Q's asked him and no doubt due to his age,he's welsh and a LB .....well with Bale starting out like that, your going to get some that will compare .....sadly I know.
They are two different type of players.....Bale is a speed demon and that's his game ....Davis,well his got no speed in that sense but he knows this and plays to his own strengths.

On a side note its nice to hear our x players only saying good things about the club ...Bale with Davis ....Rafa with vorm.....

Really do think Davis will tighten up our left side now though ,which we needed badly for a few years.....now need to sort out the right side and actually centre .....dam

I think we can safely say Davies wasn't the one who suggested the comparison!

I wasn't suggesting he was. But I'm sure all young players would like to emulate him. We will always be looking for "the next Bale" after having someone as good as him in the team.

I go a-looking for the next bail at work all the time. Sometimes one must be inventive. For example, yesterday, I said I was sick. Today, I had to say my mother was sick. Tomorrow, i suppose, I'll just say the rain has resulting in a damaging leak that requires I stay home. After that, who knows... i hope a car careens into my home. If you've never been on the phone with work and prayed for a terrifying explosion outside your home at 7am, well, I think maybe you are spoilt and happy with your jobby job.
