He looks like he's got the ability to make it at some stage. The trouble is he's competing with Alli and Eriksen for a place so he's got his work cut out.

I think he has a great future and given the length of contract it would suggest that Poch does too.

Maybe so but if he has the ability to adapt his game to fit in to what the team needs, he shouldn't have any worries. Really like what I have seen so far.

Like the boy
and like the way he is being gradually introduced
and carefully handled.
Another example to our, and others youngsters
that Pochettino really does like to mould his own players
and is happy to trust youth.
:):happy::):happy:
That's me these days when I contemplate the current Spurs approach
and the future.
Which is very bright as you all know.(y)

Good lad!

Makes me wonder whether this is a really special group of players or whether we simply have a manager who wants and knows how to develop them.

Ok Kane, Dier, Ali are special players. But is Carroll any better than caskey could have been? Is onomah better than some of the other youngsters we've had over the years.

Maybe this is our golden generation?

It's not just the manager. Levy has invested heavily in the academy. Townsend, Caulker and Livermore were the first fruits of that investment.

Yeah, good lad, but did some of you think his answers were very predictable?

Its noticeable that all the spurs players are saying the same things - Poch has them well drilled. They they are all talking about working hard, learning, improving, working for the team. Poch is the same, his interviews consistency use the same words - and dare I say he gives dull interviews.

So it is predictable, but predictably good....like predictably winning. No prima donna's, no-one getting ahead of themselves. We have lost the personality of Redknap (he was always a much more interesting 'listen').

However Tottenham is a really interesting place - its all buzzing. The football is great. The training ground, the new stadium, the regeneration of the Tottenham area. The new Talent!
