If we can get him on a bosman I would seriously consider moving in for him...

Maybe we should put in a bid of £1m for him..? He would seriously consider it especially as Reading have just been relegated. He's had a good two seasons in the Prem for Reading and he's proven himself in the Prem...

I know's he quite old, but keepers can carry on playing till they're 38, so we could get a good 3 years out of him..

Hadn't thought about him, but he is a good suggestion. There is also Viera at Villareal. He was one of the best GKs in Spain and only lost his place because David Lopez has been so good. Quite often many second string keepers are far better than other teams 1st choice. Cudiccini is another example. Palop was a second string keeper before his move to Seville. In fact Lopez himself was second choice at Real Madrid before moving to Villareal.

I was thinking that last week, he's done well in the opta stats and is not afraid to be vocal with his defenders, something we've lacked for a while.

He's also into his heavy metal which I find alot easier to tolerate than all that pop pap.

To be honest I don't think we should be going for a keeper whose club has just been relegated....
He's a pretty good shot stopper however he is awful in the air and has made many mistakes this season that have resulted in goals.
lol, also agree with laneoflegends, I don't like his beard. Plus Ramos wouldn't be keen on the spare tyre he' carrying....

He was recently automatically granted a new contract until 2009 after he reached 20 Premier League games this season, so would probably cost a little. However I think he's quite settled, depends if Coppell goes?

he has lots of saves cos theres lots of shots against reading :/.. I think hes ok.. would be a decent second choice.. I think we need to be aiming for nearly world class sort of keeper.. but mebe thats just a pipe dream
